@QuinnyPig Ok, but alexa also prompts you to subscribe when you try to access a service you don't pay for. So literally it will ask someone dying "would you like to pay 5.99 to call for help?"

“Unless you pay us, we do not give a single shit whether you live or die” is now Amazon’s actual market positioning.

@CisoDiagonal The headphones work, but the app that configures them doesn't. At least for mine. Found that out when I wanted to change settings on a flight.

@Lawl_Assoc This was interesting in my divorce. We had separate accounts, and my wife was convinced she was going to be penniless. It took a lot of discussion for her to understand that more than half of it all was going to her.

@LawSpider @Helter27 @zeta_globin This is true..my dad remarried less than a year after my parents divorced. He is now on wife 3, but whenever he was single he would complain about not having a wife to make him lunch for work and men with wives had nice packed lunches at the office and he ate Panda Express 😭

@zeta_globin It is true. Not that I make 300k. But as a 35 yo working single mom, it involves many dates with recently divorced men who spend a lot of time complaining about how the ex wife takes all their money and now she sells essential oils to soccer moms and calls it a business venture

@bettersafetynet I report the number of folks who reported the phish. That's a much better metric, and more productive behavior to focus on.

I'm OKish with phishing assessments. I'm very OK with targeted and short non-retaliatory training for folks who click the phish. I am no longer OK with reporting phishing click rates the board. Thank you for attending this TED talk.

@girldrawsghosts There’s a lot to unpack, but I think my favorite is the use of “perfectionism” instead of “perfection” because More Syllables Means More Smart

Men: I think it's pretty common for women to think men doing physical labor is hot af, right? What's the female equivalent for you guys?

@SpiritedSparr0w I did almost all of the cooking for the first half of my marriage. Its kind of hilarious that there's a common perception of men being incompetent in the kitchen, when most professional kitchens are staffed primarily by men.

It's honestly insane to me that people think men are incapable of preparing even basic meals... can't prepare some scrambled eggs and toast or oatmeal or a sandwich? And most men I know have their own chili, burger, or steak recipes. How did they survive before they had a wife?
Rachel, Maker of Wild Sparrow Naturals@SpiritedSparr0w

For all our issues, my husband cooked every meal for me post-partum (except our meal train ones of course). He was able to work remotely at that time, thank God, and was honoring the work I was doing to be there for our newborn by making sure I was fed nutritious food.

[telling Florida friend about the Amish corn I got at the farmers market] Friend: I wish I could get some! Me: I'll send you some! [envisioning a scenario where somehow that's illegal and I'm arrested for interstate corn trafficking] *30 minutes later* Me: darn sold out :(

@Empty_America A light pilsner is probably the hardest beer to make. Making it consistently, and having it all taste the same? Magic.

This is 100% true. Ever wonder why no "brewery" or Craftbeard guy ever makes a Budweiser clone, even just as a joke? They can't.

@cboyack I experience the same thing. I think those people just don't host dinner... some folks don't like having people over.

Over the past decade, my wife and I have had scores of families over for dinner. Maybe 2% of them reciprocated. For a while I thought it was something about us, but then I heard from others who are outgoing/inviting that they experience the same thing. What do you think?
