@Lawl_Assoc This was interesting in my divorce. We had separate accounts, and my wife was convinced she was going to be penniless. It took a lot of discussion for her to understand that more than half of it all was going to her.

It's honestly insane to me that people think men are incapable of preparing even basic meals... can't prepare some scrambled eggs and toast or oatmeal or a sandwich? And most men I know have their own chili, burger, or steak recipes. How did they survive before they had a wife?

For all our issues, my husband cooked every meal for me post-partum (except our meal train ones of course). He was able to work remotely at that time, thank God, and was honoring the work I was doing to be there for our newborn by making sure I was fed nutritious food.

Over the past decade, my wife and I have had scores of families over for dinner.
Maybe 2% of them reciprocated.
For a while I thought it was something about us, but then I heard from others who are outgoing/inviting that they experience the same thing.
