My friend of 5 years got married last weekend. I wasn’t invited. She said it was “just family,” so I respected it even though it hurt. I still congratulated her. Still showed love. Now she’s asking me to lend her money because she overspent on decor and a cameraman. Be honest: would you help in this situation?

Went to pickup my NP thyroid medication like I do every 3 months for the last 10 years. New pharmacist. She acted like I was trying to refill Percocet or Oxy. “Why NP?” Me: “Versus Synthroid or Levo? Because T4 only medications are poison for many of us.” For a minute I thought she wasn’t going to fill it, and I’d be on some randos TikTok for losing my mind ON my birthday no less . She then prints this out, and asks me if I’d like immunizations, because I’m “not up-to-date.” “I’m in a huge hurry; can I get them all at once?” And this Gen Z pharmacist…without missing a beat, says “absolutely.” I just grabbed the form and walked off. @cvspharmacy , you need to train your people better. And why the high turnover rate at your pharmacies? Unbelievable.

Anonymous Got pulled over last week. Speeding. I was doing 50 in a 35. No excuse. I was late for work and being stupid. Cop walks up. I'm ready for the lecture and ticket. Calculating if I can afford it. He looks at my license. Looks at me. "You know why I pulled you over?" I nod. "Yeah. I was speeding. I'm sorry." He hands me back my license. No ticket. "Slow down. Get to work safe." And he walks back. I sat there confused. Waited for him to come back with the ticket. He didn’t. Just drove away. Left me with a warning that wasn’t even formal. Just "slow down." I got to work. Told my coworker. He laughed. "You got lucky." But it didn’t feel like luck. Someone saw me having a bad morning and chose not to make it worse. Could've written that ticket. Should've. Didn't. Two days ago I'm driving home. See a car pulled over on the shoulder. Hazards on. Hood up. Pouring rain. Almost kept driving. Almost. Then I thought about that cop. About how he could've made my day worse and didn’t. I pulled over. Guy’s soaked. Car overheated. Called him a tow truck. Waited 30 minutes in the rain so he wasn’t alone. He tried to pay me. I said no... He asked why I stopped. I told him about the cop. About the ticket I didn’t get. About how someone gave me a break and it made me want to give someone else a break. He said, "I hope that cop knows what he started." I hope he does too. One traffic stop where mercy was chosen over money has turned into at least two people helping strangers. And I’m not stopping. 🤍

I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

Here is a sad update from Elsa’s dad, Kevin: We are heartbroken to share news about Elsa. This morning, she woke up with a drooping face and seemed confused. Adrienne took her to the children’s ER, where we were told that her leukemia has spread to her brain. The doctors said there is not much more they can do other than keep her comfortable. She received platelets today and is now back home with us, where she should be. Right now, we are focusing on loving her, keeping her comfortable, and cherishing every moment we have together. The doctors believe her time may be very short, possibly around a week. Please keep Elsa and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We are truly thankful for all the love and support you have shown us throughout this journey.

Anonymous "I found the wallet on the subway floor at 11 PM inside was $1,800 cash, credit cards, and an ID for someone named David Chen. My first thought was honest I'd just lost my job, rent was due, and I was three days from eviction. That cash could save me. But I looked at his driver's license photo he looked like someone's dad, someone's husband. I couldn't do it. I took the subway to his address in Queens, forty minutes away...A man answered, looking exhausted. 'You found my wallet?' He broke down. 'That's my daughter's surgery money. She needs a procedure next week. Insurance won't cover it. I withdrew everything we had. I thought we'd lost it all.' His wife appeared, holding a little girl with a leg brace. They both started crying. David grabbed my hands. 'How can we repay you?' I shook my head... 'Just take care of your daughter.' They insisted on giving me $200 as a reward. I took it I needed it desperately. Three months later, David tracked me down through my phone number. He'd learned I was unemployed that night. 'I have a friend who's hiring. Interested?' I got the job. Eight years later, I'm the operations manager. David's daughter is fifteen now, completely healthy, plays soccer.... We have dinner monthly our families are close. Last week, David's daughter told me she wants to study medicine. 'I want to help people like you helped my family.' I still carry a photo of that night David's old wallet, returned. My reminder that doing right opens doors you never knew existed."

They’re not coming after our pets in an overt way. Of course not. They’re making vaccinations for our pets mandatory for everything: Boarding Training Travel. THEN, our pets get sick. Young. And since private equity is buying up all the vet hospitals & clinics, the cost of treating your pet is in the thousands. Often for minor procedures. So we deplete our savings; we put it on credit cards, until our options run out, and we no longer have the funds to maintain their health that the vaccines & treatments caused. THAT’S how they’re coming after our pets.

“She looked at me and asked, ‘Who are you?’ I told her my name. I told her I was the little boy she used to carry to daycare when my parents worked double shifts. Her eyes changed in an instant. ‘Marcus?’ she whispered. I nodded. Last year, when my dad got sick, he kept asking one question: ‘Do you remember the woman who helped hold our family together when we had nothing?’ That question wouldn’t leave me. So I started searching—not just online, but through old school papers, church lists, and memories God kept stirring in my heart. One woman finally said the name out loud: Linda Brooks. She told me Miss Linda was still in the same neighborhood… still helping others, even with aching knees. The next morning, I got in my car and drove across the country. When she hugged me on that porch, I understood something I’d never fully seen before: God uses ordinary people to answer prayers we were too young to remember praying. That hug didn’t just reunite two people. It restored a missing piece of my life—and reminded me that no act of love is ever forgotten by God.” #faithstories #graceandgratitude #godworksquietly #christianreflection #familytestimony #fblifestyle #AI"

My daughter Maya is seven. For the last three weeks, she’s been going to school with her books carried in a plastic grocery bag. Her zipper broke on her backpack, and as a single mom working retail, an extra $30 for a new bag just wasn't in the cards this month. Rent comes first. Food comes second. Every morning, I walk her to the bus stop, feeling that heavy, suffocating knot of mom-guilt. I hated seeing the other kids with their shiny new character backpacks while my girl hugged a crinkled plastic bag to her chest. This morning, the big yellow bus pulled up with a screech of brakes. The doors swung open. Mr. Gary, the driver who’s been running this route for fifteen years, was sitting there in his usual flannel shirt. But today, he stepped down onto the bottom stair. "Hey Maya," he smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I think you left something on the bus yesterday." He reached behind his seat and pulled out a brand-new, sparkly unicorn backpack. It even had a matching lunchbox clipped to the front. Maya gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "That's not mine, Mr. Gary!" "Well, it's got a tag on it that says Maya," he said, winking at me. "Must be yours. Hop on, kiddo." Maya grabbed it, hugging it so tight, and ran to her seat. I stood there on the curb, frozen. Tears immediately blurred my vision. I looked up at Mr. Gary and mouthed the words, Thank you. He just tipped his baseball cap, gave me a gentle nod, and pulled the lever to close the doors. Sometimes the people who drive us forward are the ones who make sure we don't feel left behind. Anonymous
