Some years back, Kwesi Arthur and Medikal were nominated for “Rapper of the Year”. Kwesi won it, he did a track where he said “rapper of the year, don’t be silly”as a jab to MDK cos he (MDK) failed to win even one. Prior to that, MDK had featured on “Grind Day” remix to blow it and kickstart Kwesi’s career. Fast forward, all the rappers, including Kwesi Arthur, have fallen off; only MDK and Sarkodie are still relevant. Kwesi Arthur, who’s a BET-nominated rapper, is endorsing Blacko, meanwhile, he is performing at a dingy pub in Osu while MDK is possibly winning “Artist of the year”. Life is an interesting concept! Stay humble!
