@FraserSneden Oh 100% and Rstudio is the best IDE I have ever used.

@HenryMusto R is much better for data analysis and visualisation though. I’d never try and make a graph in Python.

I use Python all day every day now and I understand it is far superior to R when it comes to serious AI modelling but I do miss R and feel guilty for abandoning it. Learning R got me off the mean streets of Northumberland and into my first DS job. I will always be fond of it.

I'm thrilled/relieved to say I have passed my PhD Upgrade. My thanks to my supervisors Daniel Stamate, Ida Pu and @daniel_stahl_01 for their support and patience. I now have a hard deadline of August 2026 to submit my thesis and so much left to do. Best get cracking

Presentation to NHS Sheffield went well but I have an unrelated question. What is stopping a Spotify type company being set up for accessing academic papers?

Forgot I agreed to present to the Old Age Psych service at NHS Sheffield on Wednesday until they reminded me last night. It's a good job I am good at throwing a presentation together at the last minute or I would be stuffed.
