@Apotheolitical Insane argument. If no one supported Liverpool for the glory there wouldn't be more than 100x as many Liverpool fans than Norwich city fans in Nigeria but we both know there is. Liverpool are a massive club with a massive fan base because of their success. These things are linked

The Right is in a total win-win in Gorton and Denton. If Goodwin takes the seat, it will be hailed as a superhuman effort by Reform UK in a constituency with unfavourable demographics. If he loses (though I hope he doesn’t) the case for even harsher immigration restrictions will gain unstoppable force, and the Media Class will finally grasp the scale of the crisis we face. I want Matthew to succeed, but even if he falls short, he shouldn’t lose heart. The political consequences tonight are enormous. Either way, this is a total win for the Right.

I think the Green Party is the most dangerous political movement in modern British political history, far more so than the BNP ever was. When my mutuals criticise Labour, it’s important to bear that in mind. For all his terrible faults, Sir Keir Starmer is a much better and more serious man than Zack Polanski.

It is worth remembering that YouGov gives Reform its worst polling numbers.
The following pollsters in February have Reform 18-24 % at:
• MiC 17%
• BMG 18%
• Freshwater 20% (18-34)
• FON 22% (18-29)
Also higher than Lib Dem’s 🔶 and Tories 🌳 in all of them.

@charliecolecc Yea although my slight whitepill on this is that it depends who becomes the next leader. If it's Shabana these changes probably go through(90%), if its Rayner or Streeting then its 50/50, if its Milliband then they won't. We must hold the line until April!!!

Take immigration: Labour's current ILR proposals are probably the most immigration-restrictionist gov't policy in the history of this country - retrospectively denying automatic settlement to millions of (legal!) immigrants. That will probably be on the chopping block too.
