@janwhyy I too got one time and it gave an option to change the partner. I did it because my house did not have a wheel chair access. Felt bad for that person because he might have lost his commission. However, he avoided taking pain to reach my floor

Zomato just called me before a delivery to let me know my delivery partner uses a wheelchair and if I could come at the door to assist with the handoff. Two things about this. 1- that Zomato has wheelchair-enabled delivery partners at all. 2- that they built a process around it. A real phone call, a heads up, a small ask. Just quiet operational inclusion weaved into the workflow, I’m impressed!

@Technicalchart1 Surprising takeaway—but also a conveniently incomplete one. Yes, if a bank fails in its duty, it must be held accountable. No argument there. But let’s not pretend customers have zero responsibility. A cheque doesn’t vanish into a black hole for months without a single follow-up.

A customer gave a cheque to Canara Bank. The bank never presented it for payment. No explanation. No intimation. Nothing. The cheque's validity expired. The money was never received. The customer went to court. This month — April 2026 — the Supreme Court of India ruled: A bank's failure to present a cheque within its validity period, without any reasonable explanation, is a deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act. Canara Bank. Supreme Court. One customer. If your bank has ever mishandled your cheque — you have a case. Save this.

Turkey just signed a deal with Formula 1 worth around $200 million. Turkey is the one doing the paying. The fee buys the right to host a race once a year for five years, starting in 2027. Turkey walked away from F1 once before. After 2011, the race was dropped because Turkish organizers refused to pay the higher hosting fee F1 was demanding. The fees have only climbed since. Today, hosting an F1 race costs an average country $30 million to $40 million a year. Newer entrants pay $50 million to $60 million. Qatar pays $55 million. Saudi Arabia pays over $50 million. Even Monaco, which got a sweetheart deal for decades, just renewed at roughly double its old rate. Most contracts also include a 5% bump every year, baked in. Spread across five years, Turkey’s bill likely lands somewhere between $165 million and $220 million. The fee is only the entry ticket. The host country also pays for the track, the maintenance, and the entire event operation. F1 keeps everything that follows: the TV rights ($1.21 billion in 2025), the global sponsorships, and the trackside ads. The host country gets ticket sales and a few local sponsorships. Nothing else. These hosting fees alone bring in about $1.03 billion a year for Liberty Media, the company that owns F1. That is roughly 27% of F1’s total $3.87 billion revenue, and the steadiest income the sport has. Whether 50,000 fans show up or 300,000, the host pays the same flat amount. Some countries have already learned what happens when this gamble goes wrong. Korea lost $37 million on its 2012 race and never came back. India lost $24 million in 2013 and disappeared the same way. Australia loses money on its race most years, but the state government keeps writing the check because Melbourne pulls in around $150 million in tourism over race weekend. Turkey is making the same bet. In 2024, a Turkish company paid $118 million for a 30-year deal to run Istanbul Park. For years, the site had mostly operated as a car dealership instead of a racetrack. President Erdogan personally pushed for the return. Liberty Media bought F1 for $8 billion in 2016. By 2024, takeover offers were valuing it at $20 billion. The hosting fee model is the engine doing most of that work. Turkey just bought a ticket to keep it running.

IRAN has published the names of several of the 50 Delta Force soldiers they claim to have captured during the rescue operation to extract the US airman whose plane was shot down over Iran. They are: Sgt. Michael Anderson age 34 Staff Sgt. David Miller age 31 Sgt. Daniel Roberts age 29 Sgt. James Walker age 33 Cpl. Ryan Mitchel age 28 Sgt. Christopher Evans age 35 Staff Sgt. Kevin Scott age 30 Sgt. Brian Taylor age 32 CENTCOM denies that any US troops were captured by the Iranians and the claim cannot be verified by independent sources. If verified, then the "Rescue Mission" was not the "glorious success" that is claimed by the US, but an even greater fiasco than the "rescue mission" attempted in the Iranian desert back in 1980. ~Emilios Georgiadis @DDGSarah

Mohammad Aisha, chief officer of the MV Aman, was legally forced to stay aboard after the ship was abandoned in Egypt in 2017. By 2019, his crew had left, and he spent two years alone with no power or water, surviving by swimming ashore for supplies. He couldn’t even leave when his mother died, calling it his lowest point. After years of isolation, he was finally freed in April 2021 following international pressure.

@NsNitinsinha Allowing chargers would require a re-audit from the fire department imo. The current fire safety clearance will be voided if additional changes are made to the existing fire safety plan. Maybe he can visit the housing corporation office and see if there is any solution for this

No charging! That’s a ₹20 lakh+ car… parked like a normal car…bought 3 months ago. But the society has refused to allow him to install a charger… because he lives on rent. Now imagine this. Instead of simply plugging in at home, he has to search for a public charger. What should have been the biggest advantage of owning an EV… home charging… is completely gone. And this is not a one-off story. Even auto creator Gaurav Yadav recently highlighted similar issues in Gurgaon where societies are denying EV charging access in basements, often citing safety concerns or vague rules. The irony is that India’s own EV guidelines actually encourage installation of private chargers in residential parking spaces to promote adoption. So on one side, the government is pushing EVs. On the other side, societies are quietly blocking them. And the worst part? Renters suffer the most. If you own the flat, you can fight it. If you’re on rent, you’re stuck between landlord, RWA and rules that keep changing. This is the hidden cost of EV ownership in India. Until this mindset changes, EV adoption in cities will always hit a wall.

And they are on them so they won’t buy from manufacturers OVERSEAS 1) on the backs of prisoners, underpaid workers, child laborers 2) dissolve manufacturing in the US (on purpose via socialist agenda) to make the populous dependent on the government and 3) to stimulate our economy by creating factories = jobs. It has been the plan of the Deep State for years to destroy the manufacturing industry, outsource jobs, alter the food, and invent sickness for the very purpose of breaking the country so it becomes communist. @TovikkaX @EliAfriatISR Are you new to the internet? Fiber optic drones have been seen in the Russia-Ukraine war since the start of 2023. They don't need technology or rocket science for it. It just needs a very large spool of fiber optic cable fixed at the launch site

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: On Congress Leader Pawan Khera, Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Nirupam says, "... Pawan Khera alleged that the Assam Chief Minister’s wife holds multiple passports. If Congress has genuine documents and not fabricated ones, why are they avoiding investigation? Having released the papers boldly at a press conference, they should present the same before the police. The Chief Minister claims the documents are fake, fabricated, and computer-generated. Embassies of the three countries concerned have also stated that the passport numbers mentioned are missing or belong to other individuals. This raises a serious question. Has Congress attempted to set a false narrative in this election by using forged documents to malign the Chief Minister and his family? If Congress is innocent and has authentic papers, it should participate openly in the inquiry..."

@ANI If it’s really that simple, why isn’t Riniki Bhuyan Sarma showing her passport and putting this to rest? When one document can fact-check a major claim, the silence only raises more questions. Transparency isn’t hard—unless there’s something to hide.
