A good friend of mine is Muslim (he’s from Turkey). He was gracious enough to invite my wife and I to his home a few weeks ago for Iftar. It was incredible. He taught us about his religion, culture and so much more. Him and his wife fed us one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Again, if you want to limit yourself to people who only act, believe, look and love like you do, it’s your loss. You’re losing at life.

The Jews are still God’s chosen people.
The issue is that most Christians have not read their Bible and do not understand the context of “chosen.”
They are not superior to gentiles, and yes, the Jewish people today are a nation without Christ, but they are vital to God’s eternal plan and restoration.
Jesus will return to the Jews in Jerusalem and restore them.
His promises are irrevocable and if his promises to the Jewish people cease to exist, so too will his creation. If this promise expires, how can we be assured that his promises to us also will not expire?
The body of Christ is the new Israel, yes. But God’s promise to the Jews still stands. We as Christians should pray for the salvation of the Jews, this is what Christ calls us to do, and He will have the ultimate say.

@MrAndyNgo Tragic case. But ‘not guilty by reason of insanity’ doesn’t mean he walks free, it usually means indefinite commitment to a secure mental institution. Also, charging decisions around the unborn child can be legally complex and vary by state law, not just politics.

A Seattle man who shot and killed an eight-month pregnant Korean-American woman and nearly killed her husband when they were driving to work has been found not guilty by reason of insanity.
Cordell Goosby m—rdered Elina Kwon and her unborn baby in June 2023 when they were stopped at a red light. Prosecutors did not charge him for killing the baby due to concerns about protecting abortion in the liberal state.
After hearing testimony from defense medical experts that Goosby was "insane" at the time of the shootings, the prosecution agreed to have the case ended through the not guilty motion.
Goosby will be committed to an institution and regularly evaluated to see if he is fit to be released to the public. ngocomment.com

Republicans are lying to the American people when they say the SAVE Act is a voter ID law—it’s a proof-of-citizenship requirement that would make voting harder, if not impossible, for a lot of people. Passports are expensive, documents don’t always match, and the process can be a mess (been there). We should be making voting easier, not adding more hurdles. Democrats can own this by proposing their own bill that accepts a range of IDs, and includes automatic voter registration and Election Day as a national holiday for starters.
