@XWSLgb1Bo5j0Tio @AnalysisFact Perhaps you misread the formula? It says exp(x) >= e * x (for real x). Equality for x=1 is trivial. Now the derivative of f(x) = exp(x)-e*x is exp(x)-e. That's positive for x>1 and negative for x<1. So f has a global minimum at x=1, i.e. exp(x)-e*x >= 0 for all x.

@NetworkFact Proof: (nopf = number of present friends) Assume all (N) people had different nopf. Since nopf ranges from 0 to N-1 (N possible values), one person P has nopf=0. But then nobody could have nopf=N-1 (neither P nor theirselves are friends, i.e. nopf is at most N-2). Contradiction!

@buhakmeh I'm a Java developer AND I really like (and have have developed in) .NET - also not ashamed to admit it. Weirdly, sometimes it seems .NET devs kind of look down to Java (or devs using it), often with a twinkle in their eyes and saying "just kidding ... but ..." 🤔

@norberteder Der Ansatz gefällt mir. Dass die Entwicklung durch diejenigen trainiert wird, die später auch testen/nutzen, hat sich bzgl. der fachlichen Domäne ja schon bewährt. Aus meiner Sicht eine weitere Umsetzung des Shift-Left-Ansatzes. Danke!

@norberteder Kennst Du hierzu besonders empfehlenswerte Schulungen? Es gibt wohl z.B. die T.P.S.S.E., die aber den ganzen Software-Entwicklungslebenszyklus abdeckt und damit vermutlich nirgendwo so richtig in die Tiefe geht. Ich suche etwas, das Java/.NET/Web-Devs noch konkreter hilft.

@larsr_h Ja, wer Sommerzeit so rechtfertigt, könnte die Vorteile mit flexiblen Arbeitszeiten wohl auch erreichen (andere uhrzeitgebundene Ereignisse ggf. eingeschlossen) - die Bereitschaft vorausgesetzt, auf feste Uhrzeiten über das ganze Jahr zu verzichten ("ich steh' um 7 auf" - nope).
