On Friday the @hersheyfire assisted the @palmyrafire Department with a working structure fire in a duplex style home. Crews worked well and fast containing the fire to two rooms with slight extension into the attic. All residents are safe. No injuries to firefighters.

HVFD Engine-48 is on scene assisting the City of Harrisburg at a second alarm structure fire on Hummel Street.

100 blk of W. Chocolate Ave is currently closed as the fire department is investigating an odor of gas.

HVFD Update: All fire department units have cleared the scene. The roadway remains closed for investigation and vehicle removal. No timeline has been given as to when the roadway will reopen. Please plan accordingly.

Urget Traffic Alert: US 422 WEST is closed from the Waltonville Rd exit. Closure is due to a traffic accident involving a tractor trailer that is overturned on the roadway. Seek alternative route. @WGAL @Fox43 @abc27News @CBS21News
