Arsenal has only one £100m play ( Rice ). We need to change that soon. Which £100m player would you like to have at Arsenal?

#box3

I’m really confused by @DiMarzio’s report that Madrid want to sell Nico Paz permanently and have told Como they won’t loan him again…? He’s a Como player, they signed him for £5m in 2024; he isn’t on loan…

I think Rogers + Barcola is only realistic if Arsenal secure a significant sale for Martinelli, something in the region of £50m or more. Both players would cost close to £200m combined. That would already account for around 70% of the club’s transfer budget this summer, with a CM/DM, RB, and CB still on the list of priorities. Rogers + a cheaper market-opportunity LW like Tzolis, with Martinelli staying and Trossard being sold, is a much more realistic outcome financially.

£35m for a 17-year-old? That is an absolutely massive gamble, no matter how talented the player is. Reports say Arsenal are in the race for Anderlecht wonderkid Nathan De Cat, and from what I've seen, he's a very good player. Physically, he looks like he could cope with the Premier League, he's mature for his age, and the potential is clearly there. But £35m? That's where I start having serious doubts. People love talking about a player's ceiling, but football isn't played on potential alone. For every teenager who becomes a superstar, there are plenty who struggle with the step up, injuries, adaptation, confidence, or simply fail to develop as expected. If Arsenal spend that kind of money on a 17-year-old, the expectations immediately become enormous. And what happens if it doesn't work out? We could easily find ourselves in another Fabio Vieira situation where a big fee hangs over the player's head and fans spend years debating whether the club made a mistake. I'm all for investing in elite young talent, but there has to be a balance between potential and risk. £35m is not academy-project money anymore. That's money you pay for players who are ready to contribute to the first team almost immediately. Nathan De Cat is talented, no doubt. But if Anderlecht really want around £35m, I'd walk away and look elsewhere. Not every wonderkid is worth breaking the bank for.

So Jurrien Timber of Arsenal wasn’t even called up for the Netherlands team and somehow they told us he’s the best Right Back in the League? Interesting.

It’s so normal for an arsenal to talk about Chelsea but talk about arsenal and their fans will be telling you that you’re using their name for clout . Make it make sense

So sky sports is reporting one key Arsenal player may leave this summer if we get our targets. People don't like to hear this but that player is Martin Ødegaard.

Dani Ceballos on a free would be smart depth for Arsenal. Ceballos knows Mikel Arteta’s demands. We could use experienced cover without spending the midfield budget

Diomande has only done it for one season. That’s true. But let’s all be honest that there is absolutely no reason for him to spend another year burning German league defenders when we just saw what he did to Hincapie.
