@Otyman_ @MasterMaliq The irony is that you accuse Muslims of projection while projecting every internet stereotype onto 2 billion people without even understanding basic Islamic theology. At some point outrage stopped being evidence and became a personality trait.

yeah look it’s straight hypocrisy from lupita nyong’o... she was out here pushing hard for ONLY black actors in wakanda even tho it’s a made-up kingdom, screaming about cultural respect and authenticity and keeping it real for the heritage... cool, fine, whatever. but now she’s helen of troy in this greek odyssey story that’s literally rooted in ancient greek bloodlines and myths, and suddenly it’s “oh it’s just mythology, anyone can play anyone, let’s make the cast ‘representative of the world’”??? the rules only get enforced when it suits one narrative. wakanda gets the purity test, but homer’s epic gets the anything-goes remix. it’s not fair, is it? one standard for stories that boost one group, another when it doesn’t. consistency would be nice instead of the convenient flip-flop.

Ok I’ll bite. If Helen of Troy and her twin sister Clytemnestra are BLACK…where does the MELANIN come from? Zeus impregnated Leda as a WHITE swan, but even his godly DNA wouldn't have been African. And Leda is described as having "snowy, alabaster skin." So biologically speaking, where does the BLACK part come from? And while we’re asking: why are their brothers Castor and Pollux still fully Greek? Same egg, same day, same mythical birth… but only the girls got the race swap? This is what the audience will be thinking when they should be paying attention to the story. Can anyone make sense of this?

Let me be honest. I wanted to stay Muslim so badly. Not even because of God at first, but because of the life attached to it. My dad’s businesses were waiting for me. Signed and ready. My mom’s community. Doctors, lawyers, politicians. Connections everywhere. Success was laid out in front of me. There was even an arranged marriage lined up. A doctor. Beautiful future. House. Wedding. Stability. All I had to do was say one sentence: “Yeah, I still believe.” That was it. Keep the money. Keep the family approval. Keep the life. But here’s what ruined it for me: I could not unsee Jesus. Once I really read the Quran and compared it to the Gospel, I couldn’t force myself back into pretending. And honestly, knowledge becomes heavy at that point. Because I didn’t leave Islam to rebel. I left because I could not betray what I believed was true. No business opportunity, no relationship, no comfortable future was worth denying the King who gave His life for me. So yeah, my life would have been easier if I stayed. But when Jesus says, “I am the way,” you don’t answer with, “But the other path feels safer.” You pick up your cross and walk.

@MasterMaliq It actually advises slaves to be obedient to their masters, crazy Ikr? But then again, it ties it to Kings who Israel demanded from God and He told em how they'll be forced to pay tribute and to obey the king; if he is upset.. of what advantage will it be to them. Common sense!

Men are very simple beings. A guy just wearing Manchester United jersey walked into the bar, looking unhappy and stressed. He went and sat at the corner table alone. Ordered for cold beer and was busy on his phone. A few minutes later, 3 men came in, saw him and joined him. Apparently, they ALL support the same club. These are people who have never met throughout their mortal lives. Now they are telling stories, and he is all smiles and laughter. They even ordered for Nyama Choma for the beer to drown. I am sure they don't even know his name.

I asked GROK to recast Nolan's "Odyssey" using actual big name Greek/Greek-American actors working today. How did he do? Odysseus — Theo James (The ultimate brooding hero who can carry a 3-hour epic.) Penelope — Jennifer Aniston (The loyal queen who waits 20 years while fending off suitors.) Telemachus — Nicholas Galitzine (Young, intense prince energy.) Athena — Melina Kanakaredes (Wisdom, strategy, and commanding presence.) Circe — Rita Wilson (Seductive, dangerous, and magically unhinged.) Calypso — Marie Avgeropoulos (The beautiful, possessive nymph who traps Odysseus for years.) The Sirens (lead Siren) — Tracy Spiridakos (Hypnotic voice and deadly allure — perfect for the deadly songstresses.) Poseidon — Michael Chiklis (The raging, grudge-holding god of the sea.) Zeus — Billy Zane (That commanding voice thundering from Olympus.) Hermes — Hank Azaria (The quick-witted messenger god with trickster flair.) Antinous (lead Suitor) — John Stamos (The arrogant, sleazy pretty-boy suitor who wants the throne and Penelope.) Polyphemus the Cyclops — Zach Galifianakis (Chaotic, one-eyed giant comedy-horror gold.) Eumaeus (loyal swineherd) — Chris Diamantopoulos (The steadfast, no-nonsense ally.) Nestor — Elias Koteas (The wise old king and veteran of Troy.) Menelaus — Dimitrious Karras or a strong veteran Greek actor. Scylla (voice/appearance) — Tonia Sotiropoulou (The terrifying sea monster.) THIS is the version I would pay for, NOT Nolan's TEMU remake. See how easy it is when you want to do it right?

@christianjbdev Was Helen described as exotic? This is YOUR own interpretation of what "exotic" is. To Africans, white skin is exotic. You are so brainwashed it's bizarre.

It’s artistically completely justified to make Helen of Troy black, or whatever. She’s a semi-mythical fictional character. Even in the original, she was not meant to represent an every-day Greek woman. It actually makes a lot of sense to cast her as something exotic.

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

Music. Music is 100% the reason why people use that word as much as they do now. I’m an old head hip hop rap guy and there aren’t many songs that don’t have that word in them. So when people are hearing it constantly they assume it gives them the ok to do so. While I don’t agree with using the word at all, I feel that’s exactly why it’s so popular.

A white guy says, black people shouldn't be triggered by a white person calling them a N*gg*r. He explains because blacks use the word all the time. Many times white people have asked why they can't say the N-word? My question is, why would you want to? Saying the word is wrong by anyone. Yet, how often do you hear these derogatory slurs? Honky Peckerwood Kike Spic Wetback Beaner Chink Gook Redskin Not often at all. The N-word has gained some sort of attraction of it's own. Seems like the N-word has become the designated pinch-hitter of racial slurs. I now hear whites calling one another the N-word. Why?
