The story feels completely different, and it’s a free mint. Don’t fade it. @TheGuy_Club I minted because they’re growing without ads, and the way they use X reminds me of the old days. I also respect that they didn’t rush out some AI-generated website in two days just to launch on Robinhood like everyone else. Hope they sell out though 😀 @OnChainHoodies I bought a few yesterday and today. I think they’re one of the best projects on Robinhood right now, and I can see them reaching the top spot. @GremilinCartel They’re already doing well. I bought two on day one, and we also gave out more than 200 WL spots through Zax. They’re currently among the leaders. I’m not interested in any other NFT projects right now. Most of them look like quick cash grabs. Am I missing anything?

Most people still describe @base as “an Ethereum L2.” Technically correct. Strategically incomplete. Base is assembling the infrastructure for a complete onchain economy: → 1. Execution layer Flashblocks stream incremental block updates every ~200ms inside Base’s standard 2-second blocks. This gives applications near-instant sequencer preconfirmations instead of forcing every interface to wait for a fully sealed block. For payments, trading and consumer apps, latency is not a cosmetic improvement — it directly affects UX. → 2. Account layer Base Account is built on ERC-4337 smart wallets. That enables passkey authentication, sponsored gas, batched transactions, spend permissions and one-tap USDC payments — without forcing users to manage seed phrases, install another wallet or constantly switch networks. The wallet begins to disappear into the product. → 3. Machine-native payments x402 turns HTTP 402 “Payment Required” into a programmable payment flow: request → 402 response → signed payment → verify/settle → resource delivered An AI agent can pay for an API, data, compute or content programmatically, without creating an account, buying prepaid credits or managing a traditional subscription. This is not simply crypto payments. It is a native economic layer for the internet. → 4. Asset issuance B20 is designed as an ERC-20-compatible native precompile written in Rust rather than ordinary EVM bytecode. It adds policy registries, role-based minting and burning, supply caps, memos, granular pausing, permit support and dedicated variants for stablecoins and real-world assets. One important nuance: B20 mainnet activation is currently delayed, so builders should verify the Activation Registry before attempting deployment. Put these layers together: fast execution + smart accounts + programmable stablecoins + machine-to-machine payments + native asset issuance And the bigger Base thesis becomes clear. Base is not only trying to scale Ethereum transactions. It is building an environment where onchain software can feel like the internet — while the internet itself becomes capable of settling value. The people researching these primitives today will not simply “farm Base.” They will understand what everyone else arrives to use later.
