I built SecSiren because I kept running into the same problem: security issues showing up too late. When you are a solo developer, you are already doing the work of a small team. Coding, shipping, fixing, supporting, repeating. Security does not wait for a convenient moment. By the time you notice a critical issue, the damage can already be real. That is why I made secsiren.com. It started as something I needed for myself. A simple way to catch serious security issues early, without having to constantly babysit everything. Built for solo developers and small teams. Real-time security alerts. Less noise. More action. Earlier warnings. Necessity really does invent tools. #CyberSecurity #IncidentAlerts #RCE #CVE

The smartest way to get rich? Sell stuff to rich people. If you want to go from selling to freebie-seekers to selling to filthy rich people... Here's the strategy you must know:

Discipline isn’t loud. It doesn’t need motivation. It shows up when you don’t feel like it. That’s the difference between thinking and becoming. Do it anyway.

Stop listening to toxic x accounts. You're not a "slave" if you work a 9-5. You're not a "loser" if you watch Netflix. You're not "lazy" if you wake up after 6am. Yes you should do the hard work first. But then after: Live YOUR life.

You don’t lack motivation. You lack structure. Random effort creates random results. Discipline turns effort into progress. Build systems, not moods.

Can AI companies build lasting businesses, or should they just grab quick cash? Cursor was the hottest thing last year. This year everyone thinks it's obsolete. AI companies are more ephemeral than pop stars. I'm seeing two schools of thought among founders: School 1: Grab the money and run "AI companies can't build sustainable moats. Get profitable fast, cash out before Claude crushes you." Investors won't touch you unless you're already making money. Founders openly say: "I expect my company to be dead in 3 years, so I need to make enough money by then." School 2: Build for the long term "Find defensible niches AI can't touch. Hardware components, regulated industries, complex integration plays." These founders still believe in building 50-year companies like Google and Facebook. Increasingly, I'm seeing more of School 1. Founders have become quick-cash monsters. They'll literally say: "In 5 years, no AI companies will exist. Anthropic will crush everything." This is fascinating to me. Technology startups used to be about grand visions. Change humanity over decades. Build generational companies. Now it's: "How fast can I extract value before the models improve?" I understand why. Claude's dominance grows stronger every quarter. The crushing machine is accelerating. But I wonder: Are we optimizing for the wrong thing? Maybe the companies thinking long-term will find the sustainable niches. Maybe the quick-cash crowd will all get wiped out together. What do you think – is long-term thinking dead in AI, or more important than ever? #AI #StartupStrategy #Sustainability #QuickWins #LongTerm #Innovation #Anthropic #Claude #VentureCapital #TechStrategy

AI didn’t make it easier to become successful… It made everyone faster at shipping mediocre products. The hard part was never the code. It’s: -knowing what to build -understanding users -designing systems that scale AI is amazing don’t get me wrong but it’s not what makes us successful. (yet)

When you hit a wall, it’s usually not really an inherent talent problem. More often, it's a prerequisite debt coming due.

Most people don’t fail because they’re weak. They fail because they quit during the boring phase. No applause, no validation, no visible progress. Just quiet discipline nobody sees. That’s where winners separate.
