@tbdr Wow, apparently mac (1.39%) has even fewer users on Steam than Linux (2%) ... and I'd probably have to spend about 250% of the profits of Thunder Helix to date on just buying the hardware ... so, sure, any day now !

I rejigged the Thunder Helix name entry screen to remove some blank space and include the supported button shortcuts for space and delete. I'm much happier with this design. #gamedev #solodev

Today I'm working through the whole front-end of Thunder Helix to add this button prompt bar along the bottom of the screen. Might take a while but it'll improve accessibility. #gamedev #solodev

Experimenting with SDF subtraction to make more interesting rocks. Think I might write a "hot or not" front end to an RNG and then just spend an afternoon randomly judging rocks. #gamedev

@HiddenAsbestos Choices for walking principles is something scary. IK? How much physics? One leg blown off? Etc.

Seems like at least half a dozen people have looked at my planet renders and seen MechWarrior 🥳 The thought of designing mechs is a little daunting (no-one ever got sued over mech designs right?) but it's definitely a project I'll consider in future. #gamedev #indiedev

@GreyAlien Ive accidentally timed this just right as I'm only just starting to ramp up on my next project, so I'll take 10 true fans for now. That number can grow with me, like it did here last time.

@HiddenAsbestos Yeah maybe it has to be 100 times bigger to be useful. Though there's the 1000 true fans theory (but I think it needs to be more like 10k true fans if you are selling games).
