Rewrote my scene/mission loading and initialization so I can have smooth animated loading screens while waiting. I'll be making some cool loading screen animations later. Need to spice up the main menu at some point too.

Squeezed in adding a basic UI for the Market and trader role logic before bed.

@apoc_dev The ui and presentation of this is so cool

Rewrote the save system and switch to using SQLite DB as the save file. Using a DB should allow me to track loads more information and easily query it.

@CbirdArcher I think i need to add more morph bones for brows, nose bridge and cheek bones

@apoc_dev Seems to be an issue with making male characters at the moment that don't look like Michael Jackson.

@apoc_dev I ugh appreciate how much effort you're putting into the character creator but like I'd much rather see this kind of effort put into the mechlab or some more gameplay footage.

@apoc_dev Your character editor looks awesome — would you be open to porting it to Three.js for a web + mobile UI? I think there’s a lot of potential here, and I’d love to collaborate on making it happen.

Started building a character editor, got so much UI to build and hook up. Also need to tweak the effect on characters, doesn't look right with darker skin tones.

@Cassie_B_Blue Yeah I want to have a mix of outcast/misfits/punk adrenaline junkies and military professionals

@apoc_dev I imagine being rocked repeatedly in a giant suit of armor that accelerates and decelerates like a roller coaster will probably induce some people who look like they love playing the sport of Hockey! Wonder if anyone would wear a 'mouthguard' or 'retainer' like race car drivers

@artofallan Haha that would be cool, ive already planned for visible fatigue and bloodshot eyes.

@apoc_dev Haha, such an odd thought but imagine if continued deployments of pilots without rest makes them grow their hair out slowly.

Probably going to let each individual section of the hair be controlled since it will allow for more uniqueness. Also comment cool hairstyles I should add.
