1/ List of (probably) all Russian storage bases sorted by type. I added some new bases but most of them only have trucks and armored vehicles. First of all: artillery, tanks and truck bases (the rest in the second tweet):

Another 🧵. This time let's take a look at an Rocket and Artillery Warehouse near the town of Sazan'e. Big thanks to @HighMarsed, @Ath3neN0ctu4 and especially @Jonpy99 for helping me with identifying the vehicles there. 1/25 52°30'44"N 44°07'55"E @52.51222928,44.13145345,212.16410452a,1557.32070138d,35y,-0.12340867h,24.73046423t,0.00028461r/data=OgMKATA" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">earth.google.com/web/@52.512229…

VKS's Military Transport Aviation and Ukraine's Long Range Strike campaign. As the pressure has been growing ever since Ukraine carried it's first long range drone attacks December 2022, Russia has chosen to move its air assets away from the threat. 1/15

4. Don't get me wrong—most of the useful equipment has already been removed from storage, and Russia is facing numerous challenges that could significantly worsen its situation or even lead to an end to the war. However, running out of tanks is not one of them.

@FilipSkotnica Yes, but they have not run out of tanks as I explained. The point is that even if they did not have any tanks left that would not be the end of the war for the russian army.

@HighMarsed 🙃If Russia stops using tanks (because they'd run out), doesn't that mean they ... ran out? (effectively) The whole point is, Russia basically almost doesn't use them anymore, right?

The Russian losses of 152mm 2S19 Msta-S(M2) SPG have reached 300 - which is quite a lot considering that many artillery losses are likely to be undocumented. 152mm 2S19 Msta-S: 246 152mm 2S19 Msta-SM2: 54

A new feature for @WarSpotting has just dropped: ID Guides. ukr.warspotting.net/guides/models/ Want to know what differentiates a T-72B3 Obr. 2022 from a T-72B3 Obr. 2025 or a T-72B3A? Or just wondered what the myriad of 🇺🇦 UGVs actually look like? Don't worry, we've got you covered!

1/ Time to review Russian Armor Repair Plants (BTRZs)! Been a long time since the last time we checked them, and they’re crucial to the Russian war machine.

And with that we have confirmed a drop of 4000 tanks from the prewar footage. Which does fit quite well with the visually confirmed losses. Actual losses will be higher, but so will be the tanks removed from inside storages. Overall RU might have retained its tank force, for now.

Just 145 T-80B/BVs and 53 T-80U/UDs left in storage, and most likely all of them in poor condition. By fall I expect it to drop to 0. Omsktransmash needs more to work.
