Police in Columbus Ohio mess up bad when they arrested a real ATF agent. This one of those videos that really make local PD look bad. The first officer arrived on the scene and immediately drew his firearm and started demanding the ATF officer to get on the ground. Never gave him a chance to show his credentials, treated him like a criminal with zero chance to prove his innocence. clearly in the video it is seen he had his hands up with his paperwork in his hand. There was no need to demand on the ground and not give him a chance to identify himself. They arrested him, put him in the back of a squad car and continued to mock him until they made contact with his supervisor. This ended in a huge lawsuit that cost the tax payers of Columbus 1.6 million dollars over two incompetent cops that believe or not as of 2025 are still on the force doing God knows what other damage.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but for every multi-millionaire golfer who will be fine if LIV *does* close, the league has many , many more employees who have families and mortgages and bills to pay. I’d put myself in their shoes, not Jon Rahm’s or Bryson DeChambeau’s, before crowing too loudly.

The only legal conditions geopolitically would require a pandemic, natural disasters, or a declaration of war…none of which is happening so the only legal option would have been force majeure requiring one of the previously mentioned conditions…not one country has actually officially declared war so their contracts are going to have to be held up or they will face breach of contract lawsuits…speculation is not newsworthy. The news has never meant to be gossip it always has been required to be factually true before you state it otherwise is hearsay also biblical foolery aka the jester of the court or as we know it in modern days as a 🤡 Keep talking I will file the defamation lawsuit against you and your bond to be a responsible journalist myself as class action you will not win as you have already lost! This is not meant to threaten you but to make you aware of intent should you continue to publicly defame causing strife through your wicked ways!

Additional reporting after multiple conversations today with sources close to the situation: - This is not being characterized internally as a funding cutoff, but rather a transition. LIV Golf is funded through the end of the year and they were given two choices: You can shut it down now or you can ride it out through the end of the year and get outside funding. - The expectation is the league will complete the season. Any new capital is unlikely to come from Saudi Arabia’s investment arm, which has shifted priorities. - The current geopolitical environment is being used as a legal mechanism to unwind certain PIF-backed commitments — and this is not isolated to LIV Golf. - Under CEO Scott O’Neil, LIV Golf’s commercial business has shown significant signs of improvement, including the addition of new flagship sponsors. That creates a potential path to outside investment, though sources describe the process as complex. - There was a recent board-level meeting aimed at getting ahead of these developments before the news became public. Sources indicate some internal frustration with how the situation has been handled and the timing of the information becoming public. - Multiple sources also indicate that players and agents were not fully aware of the situation as it developed, setting off a scramble.

BREAKING: Sources indicate LIV is preparing to wind down operations as the Public Investment Fund (PIF) reassesses its broader strategy amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East. A recent board meeting in New York focused on the league’s near-term future, including whether to cease operations following this week’s event in Mexico City or continue through the end of the season. Importantly, this is not a reflection of LIV’s commercial performance. The league was fully funded through 2030 — this is a top-down strategic shift driven by evolving geopolitical priorities. MBS pulled the plug.

@kevinvdahlgren I’ll save you a trip. It’s not accurate. Look at 16th street mall or cherry creek path. See needles on the street and other drugs used in plain sight. It’s a fucking problem that the democrats lie about and won’t address. They are paid off by the cartels and gangs of illegals.

I have a judge in Colorado that is ready to speak about the crimes they commit. Court clerks communicating with each other on cases, ex parte conversations between lawyers and violations of the “magic wheel” and so much more. It’s like the twilight zone… I broke a story of this massive ring with judges, lawyers and townships in PA stealing land, businesses and homes from people over 20 years that is ongoing and now judges are saying, “put me in coach, I want to show you how corrupt and rotted the judiciary is and has been.” Guess, “all will be revealed” is starting to actually mean something.

Andrej Karpathy wrote something that every Claude Code user has felt but couldn't articulate. Three quotes. Read them slowly. "The models make wrong assumptions on your behalf and just run along with them without checking. They don't manage their confusion, don't seek clarifications, don't surface inconsistencies, don't present tradeoffs, don't push back when they should." "They really like to overcomplicate code and APIs, bloat abstractions, don't clean up dead code... implement a bloated construction over 1000 lines when 100 would do." "They still sometimes change/remove comments and code they don't sufficiently understand as side effects, even if orthogonal to the task." You've seen all three. Probably this week. Someone turned these three observations into a single CLAUDE[.]md file. Four principles, one install, directly addresses each quote: 1./ Think before coding Don't assume. Don't hide confusion. State ambiguity explicitly. Present multiple interpretations rather than silently picking one. Push back if a simpler approach exists. Stop and ask rather than guess. 2./ Simplicity first No features beyond what was asked. No abstractions for single-use code. No "flexibility" that wasn't requested. No error handling for impossible scenarios. The test: would a senior engineer say this is overcomplicated? If yes, rewrite it. 3./ Surgical changes Don't "improve" adjacent code. Don't refactor things that aren't broken. Match the existing style even if you'd do it differently. If you notice unrelated dead code, mention it, don't delete it. Every changed line should trace directly to the request. 4./ Goal-driven execution Transform "fix the bug" into "write a test that reproduces it, then make it pass." Transform "add validation" into "write tests for invalid inputs, then make them pass." Give it success criteria and watch it loop until done. This last one is Karpathy's key insight captured directly: "LLMs are exceptionally good at looping until they meet specific goals... Don't tell it what to do, give it success criteria and watch it go." It's a single file. Drop it into any project.

@HighPlainsWY @techNmak Consolidate in 1 file but keep Claude.md light enough. Use it to point the LLM to other instructions files (Architecture.md, Memory.md, handoff.md , Discoveries.md, it depends on your preferences) not to inflate context.

@LIVGolfUpdates @PhilMickelson The only way that LIV can offer this cushy experience for the pros is for LIV to operate at a huge loss. This isn’t how business works - things like this all fail in the end (WeWork, Carvana, OpenDoor, etc). Fun while your burning through cash though.

Loved this quote from @PhilMickelson when discussing what #LIVGolf can change over the next year to continue improving the product for fans and sponsors: "This is a question that LIV has been asking that I haven't been asked in the last 32 years "How can we make this the best experience for the professionals as well?" and that's what's exciting for us as players to be a part of this league."

“He is a little perturbed with his playing partner’s pace of play. It is glacial, to be kind.” John Wood on Matt Fitzpatrick, who is currently tied for the lead and playing with Adrien Dumont de Chassart. After Brad Faxon followed up, Wood said Fitzpatrick hit his approach on the 11th first, even though he was closer, and walked up to the green, where he waited about 3 min before Dumont de Chassart hit his approach. Rules official Orlando Pope said that Fitzpatrick talked to an official, and they have decided to give Dumont de Chassart an official warning after timing him unofficially since Fitzpatrick’s request.

I met a painter recently Mid 70's - been painting for 50 years Has 21 full time painters - paints all Commerical (mainly HOA) His jobs are in the millions and last one year + BUT... he isn't drawing a salary, struggling to make payroll, owes 6 figures in past due materials, borrowing to stay afloat My first reaction is WHY? Just retire. But then I remember many owners stay in business too long because they dont want to have hard conversations with their employees and let them down. They see them as family. How? Is he barely making it after 50 years? His expenses has risen faster than he raised his prices. He is price anchored to costs long past. Work has also slowed down (not because there isn't work) but because bidding went online and he couldn't keep with with the technology. Mid 70's remember. At the same time, he just cant let go. He isn't asking for help. The next job will be the one that gets him ahead (he says) 21 painters, full time - that is a really really good business... that is losing money and an owner who cant let go. Hes going down with the ship.

No Chance! I don't have a set handicap, but when I did, I played around 13 to 15. I've played a couple of PGA, LPGA, SRPGA courses with my best score being low 90's, and these were not set up for the tournament. Here is my prediction - Per round! Me - +30 (I'll be a little optimistic) +1 - +10 +4.5 - +15 0 - +7 Total Score +72

Ding. Ding. Ding. It’s not the top kids that this system will fail. It’s the kids who make $500k and then $600k. They graduate, their careers sputter out and then go to get an office job and make $75k. What are they going to do then. The ncaa won’t care…
