What ethics? Putting together the most nonsensical & unmovable roster of all time is “ethics” now? Kings with just under 50% chance to end up with pick outside of top4 (in a draft where the first tier is 3-4 players) I’ve paid attention long enough to know how this plays out

At this point I’ve resigned myself to letting the Lottery Gods take control. Hopefully the universe rewards the ethics. The top 3 players in the league are two guys outside the top 10, and one picked during a Taco Bell commercial in the 2nd round. Having the worst record gives you a 15% chance at the top pick, and having the top pick is no guarantee you got the best player. Yes I’m aware the lower you go the lower you drop your draft floor. Yes I’m aware I’m at the table right now with a heaping pile of Copium Flakes. But what else can you do? Let the universe decide, because at some point we gotta be due for something good, don’t we? I’ll just trust that whatever happens, is exactly what’s supposed to happen. A great philosopher once said, “Some of God’s greatest gifts, are Unanswered Prayers.” So…..yeah.

Maybe Baker bucks the trend, but wanting to make a film "without a single note" isn't something to aspire to - it's a sign that you're more concerned with validation than art.
I *completely* understand/support turning down development deals and working outside the system. But.

I don’t think people understand how big a deal it is that the kings at the trade deadline said we aren’t a playoff or play in team. In all our bad years they always made stupid mistakes and refused to accept their reality
