Jake doesn't seem to understand that separation of church and state was meant to protect the church from the state, not the other way around. It was for religious freedom that people did NOT have in England. It's to keep govt out of churches. He has it backwards.

I know Chicago Public School teachers who have big posters of Che Guevara and Karl Marx in their classrooms and they call these guys "History Heroes." It's shocking what happens in public schools. They teach the kids that Americans are bad and communists are good and cool and hip

This is such a little known story from WWII. Sophie Scholl put out a newsletter that urged regular Germans to rise up against the Reich. She would then go around town putting them everywhere. One day she and her friends got caught and she was executed. She was fearless.

Today marks the 76th anniversary of the death of Sophie Scholl. An anti-Nazi political activist, she was convicted of high treason after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets at the LMU with her brother, Hans. As a result, they were both executed by guillotine.
