@SenatorRicketts Horrifying “situation”? It was a murder. On camera at every angle. You are what is horrifying. “Streets safer”… They were! The Minneapolis police said they had obtained 900 weapons and many criminals over the last YEAR and did not shoot ONE person. Be better! Try!!!

The nation witnessed a horrifying situation this weekend. My prayers are with the family of Alex Pretti. My support for funding ICE remains the same. Enforcing our immigration laws makes our streets safer. It also protects our national security. But we must also maintain our core values as a nation, including the right to protest and assemble. I expect a prioritized, transparent investigation into this incident.

What country do we live in where video completely disproves what the government is telling us? This is NOT America. Republicans — are you ok with killing US citizens —- and then blaming the victims? And NOT having a real investigation? How do we survive this?
