@LuluLurkHeart That's rude, it's like saying to an artist "your old art is way better, then right now" while the artist is grinding hard and learning many things. So I feel ya 🥹

@exisbread They are actually one of the artists or studios that I like and try to be like them in terms of art and technical things. But I never know how they are with their client, and it made me a little bit shocked, just a little bit 🤏🏻

after paying like a $1,300 rush fee for my model and being recently reassured it’d not only be done by the due date but a week early, they replied to me two days before the due date “we will try to get you a preview by the end of the month” i only got a refund because the vent post about it here blew up, and they rushed the rigging to be able to send it by the due date, had to push back to get a ton of things fixed and there’s still things i’m not completely happy with on the model i’ve had to either fix myself or just accept at this point. because i hate when people post these without naming the artist, it was studio nekoyama. they stopped taking rush commissions after this so hopefully they’re doing better but i still wouldn’t recommend them.

Dear vtubers, Please stop expecting models to cost $200. Most of them take at least a month to make. That’s why $1000-2000 is really not a high price for a detailed model. We usually don’t have other jobs that feed us, we need to be paid lively wage. Respectfully your artists
