The first step to fixing the insane College Sports situation MULTI YEAR contracts with BUYOUTS • Helps smaller schools because Big schools that steal the players that the Small school Develops will have to pay the Mid Major School to buy out that players contract • Helps players because coaches can’t just force you to leave without penalty if you underperform • Makes “NIL Agents” have to EARN their money by negotiating terms and not just calling schools and telling them a kid wants a million dollars • Helps HM schools build more continuity with less turnover There are a lot of issues, but this is 100 percent the first step
