In exchange for us halting attacks on Islamist regime terror capabilities, we have gotten: - Iran continuing to attack ships and trying to lay mines - Continuing economic blowback as if the war was still raging - Iran rebuilding militarily - No deal, much less a good one ?

We are now a week past Trump’s last redline, which was “two or three days.” That was preceded by a dozen or so other redlines Iran ignored. Plan trusters are going to have to wrestle with the fact that even outside of Iran, this makes us look dangerously weak.

LLMs love to add filler introductory nonsense like “here’s where it gets complicated,” “the thing most people miss is,” or “this is what so many folks forget” Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Just answer my question, you stupid robot! Where are the best whore houses in Providence, RI?

This doesn’t go nearly far enough. Seniors shouldn’t pay any taxes at all. No income tax, no sales tax - nothing. And to thank them for the great fiscal situation of the USA today, college students should take on additional loans to fund cruise vacations for all seniors.

Our seniors should not pay property taxes.

I'm a mess, which is a bad time to tweet. It's Memorial Day, which means I've spent a lot of today thinking about the past, about the lost, about the people who built the world that we have inherited. But I've also been thinking about @xwanyex recent commentary about the nature of immigration and who "deserves" a country Today is Memorial Day. I went to the graves of my brother and my grandfather. I owe them so much. So does everyone. They did a lot of underappreciated work. Many of the immigration tweets Wanye points to are people saying "I succeeded in your country while you failed. Ha ha ha, I'm awesome and you suck". And, sure, this might be a particularly caustic example of that attitude, but is it really that rare? If immigrants love this country in particular, do they love the people who made it? Because they don't frequently say so. And if they love the people who made this country, the country that enabled them to have all the good things that they brag about, do they love the children of those people? Are they thankful to the grandchildren of the people who built the country that enabled their wild success? Or do they hold those grandchildren in disdain? How would a grandparent who built a world of tremendous opportunity and success respond if they saw someone who benefitted from that world telling their grandchild that they were a piece of garbage because they didn't build a billion dollar company? I'm thinking about this a lot now, largely because it's being shoved in my face. I'm not feeling particularly forgiving about this topic.

People on this app will just straight up post "Trump only endorsed Paxton because Thune didn't nuke the filibuster" and walk away convinced that it makes them and/or Trump look rational.

I hope people understand what’s happening because it’s been the same story over and over again. The Islamic Republic and their allies leak their preferred details as if they are agreed to western sources. Then when U.S. refuses to agree to those absurd terms and insists we stick to the deal that had already been under discussion, they claim the U.S. is backing out of the deal. Then they blame America or Israeli influence for the lack of a deal instead of The Islamic Republic making unreasonable demands for a settlement after they lost the military fight and are facing an economic crisis. We saw the same thing with Gaza repeatedly.

US President Donald Trump is backing away from the deal with Iran, likely under extreme internal pressure, an Al Jazeera reporter said on X citing two sources.

Q: How are job postings for software engineers rising rapidly despite AI agents automating coding? A: Because there’s far more code to manage than ever before. We’re already seeing a 14x YoY increase in GitHub commits, and it’s accelerating. AI has dramatically lowered the cost of writing code, so it’s now being used across far more businesses, applications, and use cases. We’re at the beginning of a massive productivity boom driven by the proliferation of bespoke software throughout the entire economy. Coding has been AI’s breakout use case this year. The fact that it’s increased demand for software engineers — rather than decreased it — should call into question the entire “AI will cause mass job loss” narrative.

A snake showed up in our backyard yesterday. Instead of panicking, I sent this photo to my OpenClaw. It identified it as a harmless gopher snake, gave me a local number to call to confirm, and suggested ways to catch it to make it a pet for the kids. I have small moments like this everyday now, usually less dramatic, that remind me how AI has made daily life feel a little more magical.

You do realize that attacking the president's former senior appointees in this fashion is not helping the Administration one whit, right? Like, who do you imagine was on the fence before this, read your tweet, and thought, "gee, these sound like people I should trust?"

Mike Pompeo has no idea what the fuck he’s talking about. He should shut his stupid mouth and leave the real work to the professionals. He’s not read into anything that’s happening, so how would he know.

If Trump agrees to a 60-day ceasefire with nothing but a “gradual reopening of the Strait” in return, it’s over. He can’t give Iran another 60 days to recover and then start bombing again at the end of the summer, and he knows it. That’ll be it.
