Rachel Reeves only knows how to raise taxes. Britain already has its highest tax burden since WWII - and things are getting worse, not better. The problem isn’t too little tax. It’s too much waste. Cut the waste: Carbon capture – £9.4bn Net Zero – £30bn Foreign aid – £7bn Migrant accommodation – £4bn That’s over £50bn saved and with that you could raise the basic rate of income tax to £20,000 and get the economy moving. Stop taxing Britain to death. Start cutting the waste.
