🚨If you are an Amazon seller that was affected by hard gates/restrictions in the past year, you need to read this thread. As most of you know, on November 18th I was gated in most of my brands and my 7-figure Amazon business quickly went to 0. I was facing a hugeee financial loss and was devastated, but I figured it out the solution. Here’s the full story of what happened:

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a stay order of the lower federal courts injunction suspending the corporate transparency act. So, if you haven’t already you’ll need to file the FinCen BOI. The good news is it seems they will be extending the deadline to January 13th, 2025.

The interesting thing about having @amazon suddenly and unceremoniously suspend 90% of your catalogue without rhyme or reason is that you're still getting returns from when you were at 100%. @GavinSweeneyy I just started my Walmart account a month ago and I’ve already had 1/5 of the sales as Amazon and I have barely tried.

I'm hearing that the reason Black Friday was not as good as usual, is because Walmart is taking Amazons piece of the pie And could be a reason for no fees next year 👀

@CTfbahustle @jason_fba Yeah I’m totally in limbo right now. I can’t tell if I should pull inventory to try to sell elsewhere or leave it just in case.

@CTfbahustle @jason_fba I was told by a rep two days ago that it was temporary and said it was a “brand” and “category” investigation. If/when I become eligible it will show on my inventory. It was the only rep out of several I have called the last few days that I felt knew what they were talking about.

@jason_fba Can you sell on WM? I’m having my prep center send WFS. I am in limbo right now as to what to do with my Amazon inventory. I’ve heard of a few people auto ungating what was restricted so I don’t want to bring it all home if they are just going to approve us. @amznsellerhelp

Not trying to complain or victimize just trying to get ideas on what other people are doing. Still holding tight for now didn’t do any removal orders or anything.

I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to handle out all this Amazon restriction stuff. I have around 5,000 units at Amazon plus another 4,000 units at my prep center in a different state. Basically, wtf am I supposed to realistically do? All time low in my business ngl.

@jason_fba I’ve had 2 section 3s this year for Nike curious if that is why I didn’t get regated on the entire brand

Just called a different Amazon rep she said the same info to confirm the info I got this morning. She said she checked an internal resource they have access to from Amazon to confirm them doing an investigation on all the restricted brands inventory to test for authenticity. She also said she’ll send an email for a recap of what we discussed on the call so hopefully I’ll get it in writing too.

🚨This is the LinkedIn post I’m considering posting to get some attention on the recent Amazon restrictions. Would need the entire Amazon community to get behind this to really make some noise. Even if you weren’t affected this time we can all agree what they did wasn’t fair and can happen to anyone if things don’t change. This is what I have for now. If there’s anything you think I should change please let me know: This past week, I and countless other 7 and 8-figure Amazon business owners were blindsided by a massive and sudden shift: restrictions on selling some of the top brands we’ve built our businesses around for years. We received a notice that we had less than 24 hours to sell through inventory—a timeline that’s not only unrealistic but also devastating. Personally, I’m sitting on multiple six-figures worth of inventory that’s now restricted. And I’m not alone. I know many sellers who are holding millions of dollars in inventory they’ve worked tirelessly to procure and manage responsibly. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the timing. These changes came right before the busiest time of the year when sellers like us rely on holiday sales to support our teams, pay suppliers, and invest back into our businesses. The 3rd party seller community has been instrumental to Amazon’s growth and success. We’ve taken on the risks, the investments, and the long hours to provide customers with fast, reliable access to products they love. To face such sweeping changes with almost no notice feels unfair and disheartening. This isn’t just about money—it’s about trust and partnership. I’m calling on Amazon to remember the sellers who have helped build its ecosystem and to communicate changes like these with transparency and fairness. Do better.

@jason_fba How are they manually reviewing accounts when they don’t even ask for supply chain invoices?

If you were recently restricted in a bunch of Amazon brands, did you get this email this morning? Some sellers I know got it, but I personally didn’t… Does that mean they’re manually reviewing people’s accounts? So many questions left unanswered…

🚨SUPER IMPORTANT AMAZON UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Amazon Seller Support and the girl said Amazon is investigating all my inventory that got restricted to see if it’s counterfeit or not. After their investigation is complete (Obviously my stuff is all legit) I’ll be able to sell everything again. Trying to not get my hopes up but holy sh*t is my adrenaline rushing right now.
