@HMRCcustomers any reason why every-time I try to call your customer service the automated response hangs up on me without allowing me to wait in a queue? Been calling consistently since lines opened and keep getting thrown off the call. Absolute farce from a government agency.

@HMRCcustomers Not particularly helpful when I've now called for 30 mins straight, given details and then told I'll be connected, for the system to just hang up on me. I need to speak to an advisor about simple assessment and online resources don't answer the questions I have.

I do wonder how many of these parents who insist secondary-aged children should be allowed to use the bathroom whenever they want would pull over immediately on a motorway if their kid said they had to pee, or if they'd ask them to wait for a more appropriate time.

@MrsSpalding Not a EYFS but a leftie myself! The main issue I can remember is that everything is modelled for a right handed person! So the formation of letters was difficult . Tilting the book slightly helps enormously, and different pens, biros are designed for righties so run out faster!

EYFS folk, my daughter is clearly left-handed. Doing pretty well with pen control I think for 2yrs 7 months but keen to ensure she isn’t disadvantaged in our right-biased world. Any ideas of what to read/things I should be aware of?

I know I'm being self-indulgent. But my teen (13) has been pushing me away for the last couple of years. I know it's a developmental stage and natural and all of the things. But I MISS HER SO MUCH. I can't wait till she lets me be her mum properly again.

Year 7 parents evening done. Tomorrow it’s a day of taking 30 of my year 9s to the Imperial War Museum to take part in their Holocaust workshop. Dog tired but it’ll be worth it
