Tipperary Terror: Young Woman Clings to Life After Alleged Group Assault Near Service Station A young woman in her 20s is fighting for her life in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a suspected violent assault in Co Tipperary this evening. The incident occurred at approximately 7pm near Birdhill, a village located between the M7 motorway and Killaloe. Emergency services, including paramedics assisted by the Shannon-based Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, airlifted the woman to University Hospital Limerick, where she remains in critical condition. Sources indicate the woman was found with extensive head injuries, believed to have resulted from an attack involving at least two suspects who assaulted her with weapons. The scene is understood to be close to a service station in the area.Gardaí have sealed off the location as part of a major investigation into the circumstances. No arrests have been reported at this stage, and details on the motive or identities of any suspects remain unclear.A statement has been requested from An Garda Síochána for further confirmation and updates.
