Hard to swallow but true. When you can’t deliver the dividends of leadership to your immediate circle, it begs the question how you intend to do that for an entire nation. PBAT may be failing to deliver for Nigeria but you can’t write off his political magnanimity and inclusion.
Àlúbàríkà 🇳🇬@Iyoaiye_

The irony of life is that if Tinubu were in Peter Obi's position in the NDC today, @AishaYesufu and @Peter4Nigeria would have secured the tickets for the offices they are currently contesting. The reason is simple: Tinubu has built a reputation for negotiating not only for himself but also for those who stand firmly behind him. He understands that political leadership is not merely about personal advancement; it is about creating opportunities for loyal supporters and strengthening the political structure around him. The humiliation and disappointment faced by Aisha Yesufu and Peter Akpan are the inevitable consequences of followers placing their faith in a leader who appears more focused on personal ambition than on building a system that empowers those who have sacrificed and worked for his cause. Peter Obi's politics has often looked like a one-man project, where his personal emergence takes priority while the aspirations of his supporters remain insignificant. A leader's true strength is not measured solely by popularity or public admiration. It is measured by the ability to negotiate, build influence, secure strategic victories, and create opportunities for loyal allies which Peter Obi does not clearly have..

Omah Lay gave Olamide his biggest song. Omah Lay gave Davido his biggest song. Omah Lay gave DJ Tunez his biggest song. Omah Lay gave Elmah her biggest song. Omah Lay gave Gyakie her biggest song. Now my question is who has Asake given their biggest song? That guy is always leeching off big artists.

This trending video of VDM discussing a fake voice note linked to the President, it is bad, extremely bad, and no matter how anyone chooses to see it, it clearly crosses all red lines. Contents like this will not only affect the President, his administration or his party; they have the dangerous potential to ignite tensions and create unnecessary chaos that could end up hurting innocent people. Content creators and social media influencers must understand the weight of their words and the possible consequences of spreading unverified and inflammatory materials.

@winexviv Yet we blame the first Coupists who saw this eyesore and took actions… I still stand on the fact that the January 1966 coup was a patriotic one, the retaliatory coup that happened in July was the wicked establishment fighting back.

Former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew once said that he learn't from the failure of Nigeria while building Singapore from a third world to a first world nation. Nigeria gained it's independence in 1960 while Singapore gained theirs in 1965. Our both countries where colonized by the British. He said that Nigeria lacked the will to be a nation. In his 1966 visit to Lagos, he observed that Nigeria's leaders were utilizing their positions for self-enrichment and private ventures rather than national advancement. For example, he recounted a conversation with Nigeria's Finance Minister at the time, who implemented protective import tariffs on shoes primarily so that he could retire and successfully run his own shoemaking factory. He learned from this that state resources were being heavily diverted to build personal wealth instead of establishing long-term, meritocratic, and productive institutions. He concluded that vast natural and human resources could not substitute for a cohesive national identity and honest, competent leadership. How i wish Nigeria can go back to basics and start fixing from there.

I’ve Spent Over ₦340 Million on Buying W+ed In 6 Years From Just One Dealer — Rapper Ice Prince Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has revealed a shocking detail about his past lifestyle, disclosing the massive amount he spent on cann@bisover the years and how it influenced his decision to quit smoking. Speaking during a podcast session on Nevon HQ, the award-winning artiste admitted that his spending habits on w+ed were excessive and financially draining, especially from one particular supplier. “From 2020 to 2026, I have spent ₦340 million on w+ed from just one dealer alone, not to even mention my other dealers from Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London. This is literally just one guy.” The rapper explained that the realization of how much he was spending became a turning point, ultimately pushing him to step away from the habit.

Let me be honest. I wanted to stay Muslim so badly. Not even because of God at first, but because of the life attached to it. My dad’s businesses were waiting for me. Signed and ready. My mom’s community. Doctors, lawyers, politicians. Connections everywhere. Success was laid out in front of me. There was even an arranged marriage lined up. A doctor. Beautiful future. House. Wedding. Stability. All I had to do was say one sentence: “Yeah, I still believe.” That was it. Keep the money. Keep the family approval. Keep the life. But here’s what ruined it for me: I could not unsee Jesus. Once I really read the Quran and compared it to the Gospel, I couldn’t force myself back into pretending. And honestly, knowledge becomes heavy at that point. Because I didn’t leave Islam to rebel. I left because I could not betray what I believed was true. No business opportunity, no relationship, no comfortable future was worth denying the King who gave His life for me. So yeah, my life would have been easier if I stayed. But when Jesus says, “I am the way,” you don’t answer with, “But the other path feels safer.” You pick up your cross and walk.

In the name of Allah SWT, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. If running again will not be in the interest of the excellent people of Kaduna North and Nigerians as whole. Then may God give it to another. In the coming weeks, I will be going around by the grace of God to engage the people of Kaduna North in their homes and streets, as well as the stakeholders of our party, the African Democratic Congress, (ADC). I am not entitled to anything and I will work as hard as I can and always do to state our record and convince the public. We will do this while willing to support whoever emerges in the primary election. Regardless of the outcome we will campaign for the candidates in our party with the precision, honesty and transparency we are known for. My focus is still ensuring justice for our dear father, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai but we will be testing this mic from this week Insha Allah. See you soon. Signed: Jika Hanta Mallam’s proud son.

🚨 JUST IN: Gerard Piqué says Chelsea coming back from 2–0 down with 10 men to eliminate Barcelona in the 2012 UCL semifinal is one of the TOP two GREATEST COMEBACKS he has ever witnessed, admitting he has “never seen mentality like that before.” That Chelsea comeback against us in 2012 is honestly one of the two greatest comebacks I’ve ever witnessed in football. And I say that as someone who was on the pitch suffering through it." "We were 2–0 up at Camp Nou, Chelsea were down to ten men after the red card, and the whole stadium already felt sure Barcelona were going through. Normally in football, that situation is over." "But mentally, they were unbelievable. I remember looking across and seeing players throwing themselves into tackles, blocking shots with everything, fighting for every second like their lives depended on it." "What shocked me most was that they never panicked. Most teams in that atmosphere against Barcelona would completely collapse. Chelsea somehow became calmer after going down to ten men." "The goal before halftime changed everything psychologically. Suddenly, even with all the possession we had, you could feel Chelsea growing stronger mentally while frustration started entering our team." "And then Torres scoring at the end… honestly, I’ve never heard the Camp Nou go that silent. It felt impossible that we were out after everything that happened in the game." "People always talk about tactics in football, but that night was about mentality. Pure mentality. I still haven’t seen many teams react to adversity the way Chelsea did in that semifinal." "You can dislike their style, you can argue about luck, but mentally that Chelsea team was one of the strongest teams I’ve ever faced."
