My Dear Brother @paultungwarara: Allow me to express my sincere appreciation for your generous gesture towards my person for the $10 000 gift extended to me. I receive the gesture with humility and gratitude. However, after careful reflection I respectfully decline the offer. As a revolutionary cadre, I have always held the conviction that defending His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde. Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, defending ZANU PF and safeguarding the gains of our liberation struggle is not a commercial undertaking. It is a duty born out of loyalty, conviction, patriotism and unwavering commitment to the revolutionary cause. For me, the revolution has never been for sale nor has my support for our President ever been motivated by the prospect of personal benefit. Furthermore, I do not consider myself more deserving than the countless cadres and patriots who tirelessly defend, promote and advance the best interests of our party and country every day, often without recognition or reward. Many have sacrificed immensely for the revolution and I remain humbled to stand among them. I now understand why our fathers who brought about total independence and democracy always remind us that they stand with those whom they fought side by side for the liberation of this motherland, they did so for no personal gain but for the love of our nation. The reality is that I am not a wealthy man. Like many Zimbabweans I face personal and family obligations that such assistance would undoubtedly help address. Yet revolutionary principles must always take precedence over personal circumstances. My conscience, values and commitment to the cause compel me to respectfully decline this gift. I therefore remain grateful for your kindness and consideration while reaffirming that my loyalty to the President, the party and the nation remains unwavering, uncompromising and beyond material consideration. Coming out of my review appointment with my doctor and being greeted with this news is truly encouraging. Thank you, Advisor, for recognising and rewarding fellow comrades who have been working tirelessly, day and night, defending the name of our Leader and President, Emmerson D. Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa, Amai @ZimFirstLady, the First Family, and our party, ZANU-PF. Their commitment to championing the 2018 Manifesto, NDS1, NDS2, and CAB3 is commendable. I have no doubt that, among ourselves, we will never hesitate to defend and fight for what we believe in. Our loyalty to the party, its leadership, and its vision for Zimbabwe remains unwavering. However, as for me, Cde Advisor, I will respectfully decline the money, as I consider it an insult to the sacrifices and efforts I have personally made in defending our leadership against individuals such as @matinyarare. Rewarding someone with US$200,000 and a Toyota Land Cruiser after they publicly humiliated my dear President, Amai, and the First Family on the international stage raises serious concerns. Listening to Rutendo's apology and his criticism of Dr. Kuda Tagwirei, claiming that he has not shared his wealth with fellow Zimbabweans, leaves many questions unanswered. You yourself have acknowledged Dr. Tagwirei's immense contribution to national development during a period when our economy was under severe attack from sanctions. Today, he remains under sanctions largely because of his support for the President, the Government, and the defence of our nation's interests. Cde Advisor, you work closely with Dr. Tagwirei in ensuring that His Excellency's vision for Zimbabwe is achieved. Therefore, some of these developments are difficult to understand. Once again, thank you for the offer and for recognising the efforts of fellow comrades. However, I will respectfully not accept it. Pamberi ne ZANU-PF! Pamberi ne Vision 2030!
