@JChampo86@CayreCharlie@ISLANDBOYY11 Well maybe it’s because I have a bit more context into what she thinks about being black. It just seems like she is trying to distance herself from the black community to appease white people.
@raxxan7@JChampo86@CayreCharlie@ISLANDBOYY11 Ok so I know this woman who's great×3 and great×4 grandparents are black on her mom's side and yeah she's got all the documents and generational family photos to prove it. She's white as rice and her parents are too, so wtf do we call her?
Dear @RondaRousey@netflix
Ronda Rousey’s “Matchmaking” at MVP Productions Was an Absolute Disgrace to MMA
I’m a passionate MMA fan. I really love this sport. I respect the fighters who grind every day, who put their bodies and hearts on the line for real wars that remind us why we watch. But what I saw last night on Netflix with MVP Productions and Ronda Rousey was an absolute disgrace to MMA.
Ronda wasn’t just fighting on the card — she was the quote-unquote matchmaker, basically playing Hunter Campbell for the whole show. She’s the one who put these fights together. And man, it was shameful.
Look at the matchups she booked. They were one-way train wrecks from top to bottom.
Junior Dos Santos, a former UFC heavyweight champion and a legend in this game, got thrown in against Robelis Despaigne. It was over quick — another first-round knockout. Then you’ve got Felipe Lins stepping up against Francis Ngannou. Remember when Francis was in the PFL saying any opponent fighting him should earn no less than a million dollars? That was the price they had to pay to step in the cage with him. Yet reports say Felipe Lins only got $100,000 last night. One hundred thousand. While Francis walked with $1.5 million. That’s not a fight — that’s a payday with a body attached.
And don’t even get me started on Mike Perry versus Nate Diaz. Nate hadn’t fought in years. The last time we saw him he basically gave up in the cage. Now you’re asking him to step in against Mike Perry — a guy who’s still active, still bare-knuckle fighting, still the self-proclaimed “King of Violence.” Perry absolutely molested Nate Diaz. He knocked him out and left his face looking like it went through a meat grinder by the end of the round. Ronda put that fight together too.
Then the main event: Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. Seventeen seconds. An armbar. Done. Gina had no business being in there with her after all those years away, yet Ronda comes out gloating afterward, talking like she’s the best of all time. Come on. That’s like Michael Jordan coming out of retirement to play against a high school team and then calling himself the GOAT again.
These weren’t fights. They were quick, scripted-looking highlight reels designed for easy wins and big paydays for the big names. No heart. No back-and-forth. No respect for the sport or the fans who tuned in expecting actual competition. Real fighters like JDS, Lins, and a faded Nate Diaz got fed to the wolves for entertainment value, while Ronda celebrated like she put on the fight of the year.
This is what MVP Productions and Netflix gave us? A cynical cash grab wrapped in nostalgia. MMA has fought for years to be taken seriously as a legitimate sport. Events like this make casual fans roll their eyes and call it fake. They make dedicated fans like me furious and embarrassed for the game we love.
Ronda Rousey, as the person in charge of these matchups, carries a big part of the blame. She let the fighters down. She let the fans down. And she let the sport down.
I love MMA too much to stay quiet about this. Fighters deserve fair shots and real opportunities, not to be used as cannon fodder. Fans deserve actual fights, not 17-second memes. And this sport deserves way better than the disgrace we witnessed last night.
@DReynolds5294 Yeah a fucking decade ago during her prime fighting. You simps bring up those fight times like they happened in the past year or so. She's fucking 40 not 25. 17sec arm bar against someone who's been out of shape and the ring for 17yrs like it's special? Should've been Rick Flair.
Everyone saying rigged for the Ronda flight is a casual. Everyone knew exactly how that was going to go..
Her last 4 wins... 34 seconds, 14 seconds, 16 seconds and a minute and 6 seconds.
@SkitzophrenicYT@Housebots Yeah a decade ago and last I checked you don't get faster with age no matter how good of a shape you stay in. But what you're saying is somehow a 40yr old Ronda is just as fast as 26yr old Ronda? Would've been more entertaining if she fought Rick Flair and probably just as fast.
@Housebots So you don't watch UFC. Got it
Hey dumb dumb...she's already got 4 matches in under a min, most under 30 sec. By armbar.
But wait. let's make the retards happy for once. It's scripted 100%
@SeanMonk02@thedjseen2@LucaFury Besides, Carano is 44 and hasn't been in the ring for what almost 20yrs why risk it when your payout is half of your opponent win or lose.
@SeanMonk02@thedjseen2@LucaFury Yes I call dive. Even though Caranos career was short she had a high TD def. So she knows how to counter grapplers effectively even at Rouseys level. Never once in any of Caranos fights did she go to kick as the grapple was coming in.
When Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano was proposed in their primes several years ago, it was always understood to be a total squash match outside of the mainstream media type casuals who thought it was competitive. Now, so many years later there’s barely anyone still around who watched them in their primes. The amount of completely clueless takes on this fight are hysterical. #RouseyCarano
Ronda Rousey is the most overrated fighter in history.
She fought at the time where there was absolutely no competition at all for women.
Then once she started losing, she just quit.
Because that’s what quitters do.
@SeanMonk02@thedjseen2@LucaFury In a few months? Carano has been training for over a year for this fight, you can't sit there an say she didn't learn even the basic skill to counter. She's not going to be at the same level but even I know when the grappler closes in 2 planted feet is harder to take down.
@SeanMonk02@thedjseen2@LucaFury I've seen them both fight in their prime. They both know each other's style of fighting, hell Ronda even made it clear she was going to arm bar Gina. From my perspective idk who done the bigger throw in their "come back" match, Carano or Tyson.
🔥Gina Carano already WON regardless of the outcome tonight against Rhonda Rousey.
She was a brave American Patriot when being brave & speaking out meant being persecuted if you did not bend the knee to the altar of WOKE.
@redsassypants@MattWallace888 I deal with the same bs from my roommate, she always feels depressed and overwhelmed with all the stuff that needs to be done around the house yet continues to sit on her ass 90% of the time letting everything build up even more.
@redsassypants@MattWallace888 Miscarriage i can understand the rest of it is utter bs excuses. She obviously didn't have good support from family and friends. Turning yourself into a cow because you're depressed then being depressed because you're a cow is psychotic.
@RepJackKimble@cdenton71 American that works 344 days a year and makes 60k here. It fell flat. In fact, it further confirmed my belief that all of you in Congress are out of touch and should be replaced. Except for @RepThomasMassie of course.
Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.
@JanetInman16@JamieFollese@Rodlong91@JoshEakle@MalcolmNance A 3rd party and a reset wouldn't be able to do anything. It would require an actual revolution to remove the current government body. Rebuild on the foundations with new laws placing term limits and such. I wouldn't want to see that happen but unfortunately it's to that point.
@JamieFollese@HoelkerSteven@Rodlong91@JoshEakle@MalcolmNance Both parties are to blame and only serve to continue the cycle of never accomplishing anything because cheerleading and grandstanding are the only thing they do. We can not expect change until we have a reset and a third party that actually represents the people.
Mike Johnson says Congress can't survive on $174k because of inflation, and uses that to justify letting members trade stocks.
Incredible take from the guy who decided his only job was taking orders from the President.
