@OwnNothingBFree @TheICHpodcast Well I don’t think the common people using Dave Ramsey principals are worried about arbitrage lmao most are in debt and common American folk bad with money. Not some Wall Street finance guy

George Kamel reveals he would NOT take a $1,000,000,000 loan at 0% interest… “It’s not because I’m trying to be the ‘anti-debt guy’ it’s because I live by a set of values and principles, and I have found that living debt-free is simply a better life for me. So, someone else down the road, they can take that loan, and I wish them the best.” “I think taking on a billion-dollar loan at 0% to then arbitrage it and make money over here at 4%, it simply doesn't interest me.”

i love dihexa and its one of the few compounds i ACTUALLY notice something from the main thing i notice is that i get almost photographic-like memory when learning new things. information stick easier, faster, longer. i've been taking it intranasal but will switch to oral soon because of the protective effects it has on the liver which could counteract potential damage on my liver from low dose trenbolone. dont forget that HGF, which is what dihexa mimics, stands for 'hepatocyte growth factor'. hepatocyte = primary liver cell its one of the primary regenerative and protective pathways for the liver.

@yonann Okay so what if he’s wrong? What’s the alternative we just complain and say it’s not fair and blame boomers for everything? Even if true it’s a waste of time and doesn’t help us any. Just have to make the most of it. To many people complain about things that they can’t change!!

Dave Ramsey says 80-90% of your life outcomes come from your own inputs, not boomers "People say the little man can't get ahead… the truth is in any generation, including this one, that's not true" "80-90% of the outcomes over the scope of your life are caused by your inputs, not by the president, not by capitalism, not by boomers"

@vox_vis @doctormorphh also considering you are in Australia you likely have actual standard vs here in the states any kid who says they can’t focus can go get legal amphetamines prescribed with no tests most of the time.

people with ADHD who get medication have > improved academic achievement > reduces odds of getting obese > reduced risk of depression and anxiety > less odds of getting into criminal activities > better self esteem > lower divorce rates dont look down on these things because you dont agree with the methodology ADHD is a real issue

ADHD has several meds that can possibly improve your condition and how effective these meds are is dependent on your underlying issue some things that could help with ADHD & focus: > guanfacine > ritalin > adderall > dexedrine > desoxyn > elvanse/vyvanse

the most important growth factor in your brain is completely useless (as a drug) BDNF keeps neurons alive, builds synaptic connections, and is essential for learning, memory, and mood. its a key to improving conditions like Alzheimers, Parkinson's and every other disease where your brain is actively degrading. its been an active goal of neuroscientists to find a solution to this, but BDNF seems useless when administered as a drug, largely because of its inability to cross the BBB when administered. until 2010 when researchers found a new molecule that does what BDNF does called 7,8-dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) - crosses BBB - binds TrkB receptor (BDNF receptor) - triggers same downstream signaling cascade as BDNF - found naturally in plants like godmania aesculifolia and tridax procumbens it doesnt result in endogenous BDNF downregulation but just activates the BDNF receptor along with other benefits like - restoring/repairing TrkB receptors - increasing white fat → brown fat conversion - upregulates STAT3 (anti-neuron death) - increases glutamate receptor subunits - increases proBDNF → matureBDNF - activates PGC-1α - improves oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction and insulin resistance

think slower = more focus? guanfacine does the exact OPPOSITE of a stimulant, it decreases firing in the prefrontal cortex instead of increasing it so that you dont electrocute like with modern stims guanfacine also has other effects > increases BDNF > stops stressed neurons from dying > decreases dopamine release in VTA > suppresses cAMP production through α2A-AR signaling > restores dopaminergic tone over time > protects brain structure during hypoxia > decreases norepinephrine levels in prefrontal cortex this basically makes it so you dont end up like electro, with a zapped out brain.

You’re actually making my point. You said it yourself: “one shouldn’t just do this blindly” and “go get with my tax guy.” That’s the caveat Bessent didn’t give. He said change your withholding, period. No mention of running the numbers, no mention of checking with a professional. That’s why it’s bad advice coming from the Treasury Secretary speaking to millions of people who don’t do tax planning. If he’d said what you just said, I wouldn’t have posted anything.

People don’t understand Dave’s business model is off the personal finance psychology of it. Most people do indeed borrow themeselved into oblivion with consumer debt!!! Robert invests in real estate that cash flows like multi family. Two very different things. He’s also contradicting himself as his book says invests in assets not liabilities ( consumer debt) use your assets cash flow to pay for your lifestyle. He doesn’t say go into consumer debt he says borrow real estate lol

An accountant can only make an estimate to keep you at least within a good range. They must use conservatism. No one can forecast your own business perfect. You should be reviewing their projections. Have them sit down with you and review what numbers they are using. You are liable for the assumptions just as much as them. You are the business owner. If they don’t do that and didn’t explain that then ya you have a typical introvert accountant.

Nobody tells you the hardest part of leaving the military. It’s not the transition paperwork. It’s not the job hunt. It’s losing the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. I served on submarines. That’s a different world literally. You don’t just forget what purpose feels like. For years I’ve been chasing that feeling. This year I finally felt it again. Launched my own bookkeeping firm, landed first real clients, and passed my first CPA exam. Small? Maybe. But it’s mine and it’s growing. To my fellow vets, keep pushing! #VeteranOwned #Entrepreneur

If anyone here needs a bookkeeper I’d love to help! There’s a lot of value in hiring a good one!! That’s the key though. Right now the bookkeeping space is swamped with outsourcing and low barriers of entry. CPA firms aren’t the best place to find attentive ones either. Find you a freelance accountant who does bookkeeping! Remember the purpose of an accountant is to provide business owners with information. Business owners on average waste 10-20 hours a month on bookkeeping related tasks. The real question then is could you do something more valuable with that time. Delegation increases productivity. * if you have someone good and not detrimental haha

Translation: YouTuber starts making way more money a lot easier than renting apartments in the super liberal city of LA so he decides to sell it all and take a ego hit when in reality he’s just super rich and why would anyone in his position be a landlord. P.S. I’d do the same.
Graham Stephan@GrahamStephan

I’ve spent a decade telling people to do what I do: "Buy and Hold." Now I've decided to list my entire real estate portfolio for sale and walk away. It started slow. The bills, the maintenance, the tax increases... but the final straw was when I tried to develop an ADU to do exactly what the city of LA claims it wants investors like me to do: Create more housing. You'd think they'd make it easier, but after two delayed inspections, a sewer pipe replacement that needed 75 days advance notice, and a city-owned tree that became my responsibility, I'd had enough. The identity of being a real-estate guy is very hard to walk away from, trust me. For a long time, I stayed just because real estate was my "thing." It’s how I started. It’s what I’m known for. It led to every good thing in my life. But that blinded me to the fact that just because something served me in the past, it doesn't mean things haven't changed in the present. The reality of 2026 finally stripped the emotion away. My LA rentals are netting about 4-5% after the constant background noise of taxes, insurance spikes, and repairs. Meanwhile, a risk-free Treasury pays 5%. The trade-off just doesn't make sense any more. I’m reallocating to a liquid portfolio that actually lets me focus on the work I love. I published a deep dive on my Substack about the ADU nightmare that broke my patience, the exact numbers behind the exit, and where I’m moving the money next to buy back my sanity. I'll drop the link here in a bit.
