Mom with 3 great kids. Trying to put myself out of business by getting everyone to wear seatbelt, drive sober and not to take dumb risks. Opinions are my own.

And there it is! The Liberals win a majority government in NB. Susan Holt will be the first woman Premier of NB. Congratulations!

💡REMINDER💡 The recommendations surrounding rest after concussion have changed! We now know that resuming safe (non-contact and low-risk of falling) activities 1-2 days after a concussion including aerobic exercise and returning to school can help recovery! 🚩How much should I rest after a concussion? ➡️After the initial injury, stop the activity right away and get medically assessed ➡️After 1-2d: Gradually resuming light to moderate aerobic and cognitive activity is strongly recommended to help you recover faster ➡️Avoid contact sports until medically cleared. To kick off Concussion Awareness Week, here is a great video with an overview of the recent updates to return to school after concussion by Dr. Roger Zemek. ✔️Return within 1-2 days or as soon as possible ✔️Avoid school activities that have a risk of hitting your head or falling ✔️It is common to still have symptoms and OK if they worsen a little when doing school work ✔️Returning to activities such as school is good for your recovery ✔️You DO NOT need a Doctor's note to return to school ✔️Medical clearance is required to return to high-risk activities such as gameplay in gym class Want to learn more?
