DOES SATAN KNOW THE FUTURE? You might want to say no. Maybe you’re right. But I always find little hints throughout history that make me wonder. For instance, did you know a mighty storm amidst a voyage from Europe to America — and a perfectly-timed gust of wind — nearly killed Joseph Smith’s ancestor, John Howland? Were it not for God guiding a rope into his hand, he would have almost certainly died. The account is found in Governor William Bradford’s Of Plymouth Plantation (written 1630–1651), the only eyewitness-derived account of the voyage: “And in one of them, as they thus lay at hull in a mighty storm, a lusty young man called John Howland, coming upon some occasion above the gratings was, with a seele of the ship, thrown into the sea; but it pleased God that he caught hold of the topsail halyards which hung overboard and ran out at length. Yet he held his hold (though he was sundry fathoms under water) till he was hauled up by the same rope to the brim of the water, and then with a boat hook and other means got into the ship again and his life saved. And though he was something ill with it, yet he lived many years after and became a profitable member both in church and commonwealth.” So was this Satan with foreknowledge of a descendant that would help bring about the Restoration? Was he trying to thwart God’s plan before it unfolded? Sure, it could just be a fluke. People were thrown overboard and perished in these voyages all the time. But I’m curious for your thoughts. Personally, I think there’s a good chance Satan understands the future far more than we give him credit for. Not that he is omniscient or knows all things like God — but that mankind follows a plan established from the beginning, and Satan knows enough of that plan to try to destroy it. And perhaps that is why history so often feels like a war over bloodlines, covenants, dispensations, and promised individuals.

Utah deserves FULL TRANSPARENCY on the Box Elder Stratos Project BEFORE we move forward. The 40,000-acre hyperscale data center + on-site natural gas power plant (up to 9 GW, more than DOUBLE Utah’s current total electricity use) was fast-tracked and approved by Box Elder County on May 4 with minimal public input or published studies. Protests, water rights protests (nearly 4,000 filed, leading to withdrawal of the initial app), and referendums show the public wants answers, not promises. One of the many critical issues & questions that MUST be answered publicly, with independent studies, data, and verifiable details, for real transparency: 1. WATER: Exact projected consumption at full buildout? Closed-loop/dry cooling claims sound good, but where’s the published hydrologic analysis, independent review, or proof of “net-zero”/“zero water turbine” tech? Water rights app withdrawn after massive protests , when will the refiled application and full impact data (on aquifers, Great Salt Lake watershed, and existing ag rights) be released for public comment?

Yeah…most likely since the Chinese government also have a porn problem. Yeah, I don’t think the ruling elites have a moral compass on anything. That goes for both sides of the political spectrum. Sure there is repentance and possibility a handful who won’t engage, for those people I am glad they won’t.
