I've seen the narrative going around that I'm bitter about Tuesday's results. I'm not. I'm genuinely at peace with the outcome. If anything, I'm excited about what's next in the energy industry, without the noise of state and national politics. I expect I'll stay politics-adjacent in one way or another, and I hope to keep serving Arizona, directly or indirectly. It's a fascinating time to be in this industry, and I'm looking forward to focusing on what I do best: shaping good energy policy for Arizona and the country. I'll keep speaking plainly and standing by the facts. That hasn't changed. But bitterness isn't part of this. I'm looking forward, not back. And to be clear, none of that changes my commitment to the party. I'll keep working to get good Republicans elected up and down the ballot this November and beyond, and that goes double for my very good friend and fellow commissioner @VoteKThompson, even if we don't share as many burritos as we have been this last year and a half!
