My Honest Account of what happened last night.
I arrived at Epsom expecting to see maybe 20/30 people there. It was only a flash demo after all.
But such is the anger and feeling of betrayal in Epsom that there were several hundred people at the station.
There were not many police either. They had been caught on the hop.We marched off in a peaceful manor. No shouting. No singing. When we reached the junction we decided this was as good a place as any to hold our protest.
We held the traffic up.But I did not hear one motorist complain. Most were locals and were giving us the thumbs up from their cars.Everything was peaceful. And orderly.
Then as van after van of riot police started to arrive the atmosphere turned a bit. It was a total overreaction by boys in blue. And one that I have not seen at other demos such as the pro pally mobs that have plagued our streets for the last couple of years.
Any major trouble was only averted by the leadership of our guys at the front calling for calm.
All we were asking for was a bit of honesty and a bit of dialogue. We were met with riot shields.
Well done to the people of Epsom.
Shame on the police.

I’m not for or against merely that music used to bind us collectively in our youth because we could sing our struggles or celebrate being together through music - where are the equivalent now - no one makes music to bring us together anymore!

@BasilTheGreat The problem isn’t the content of the photograph - it’s the person making the original post. He is a political agitator - ignore the narc and deprive the troll of oxygen & voila - the inflamed cultural divisions disappear and then political ideas can be debated on merit.

@tag4UK @CaptainSensib15 I can’t you stupid cunt. How many wars has France dragged us into?

@donmcgowan You’ve probably received very little pushback because nobody has read your hysterical ramblings. I’d imagine this is mainly because nobody really cares what you think due to you being a hysterical socialist prick 🤷🏻♂️

Two days ago, I wrote an article that lays out the direct comparisons between Reform UK and the Nazi's campaign strategies. Spoiler: they are almost identical.
The interesting thing to me is that I have received very little pushback from the Reform trolls.
Do they not understand/care/mind?
Anyway, I spotted a new twist in their visual imagery last night. The hanging frame of a Union Jack in Reform blue — designed, I'm sure, to mimic a cross at church events.
Remember Farage and co. being outraged by the desecration of the Union Flag a couple of years ago? But that was because it was 'woke' and made them angry.
Now, here they are, having truly stolen the cross of our flag for their own, distorted and masked by the gaudy blue of Reform UK.
A paragraph from the article:
“The huge Nazi rallies were employed to build a sense of power, reinforced by their strong, direct imagery. They were masters of branding and well ahead of their time in that sense.”
Have a read and then tell me if I'm wrong.

@Holycow @LaindonFEMINIST I don’t disagree but surely folk can see what’s actually happening in these places? It doesn’t take a lot!
English

@TeagueRoger @LaindonFEMINIST I believe Paul Mason has already made the comment that he liked the unions being there but wasn’t too happy with the terrorism supporters clubs - so yes it will slowly dawn on them that they are in fact the ones inadvertently supporting racism, terrorism, fascism - all the isms!
English

@TeagueRoger @LaindonFEMINIST Conditioning, in-group reaffirmation vs ‘others’, trauma, isolation, lack of self esteem, feelings of helplessness and they themselves say feelings of hopelessness in a world that seems cruel or unfair - usually the most vulnerable become the most vocal.
English

@Holycow @LaindonFEMINIST Probably but one day someone might have a reply as to why such marches that contain so much hate supporting death cults actually think they are in the right 🤷
English

@LaindonFEMINIST So who exactly is this far right you mention then?
