I see Rory is back in his Voice of the Game mode. He’ll walk back half the stuff he says when his handlers point out his various conflicts of interest. Meanwhile he’ll be all about match play but then most likely won’t play it because instead he’s making a $5 million appearance fee to play in Ulibullystan that week.

The way he's handled all of this shouldn't be impressive, but in comparison to others who shall remain nameless, it is. Taking responsibility. Realizing there are consequences for actions. Being humbled, etc. All the stuff you learn when you grow up / become a fully-formed adult. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but you have to respect how he's played this whole situation.
