If you have ever been down in the southwest especially Texas - there are a lot of square cage set ups - one notably at the Woodlands HS. It’s one of the reasons in my opinion the southwest has always produced great hitters The American market has developed the rectangular model because of space and the expense of that space It has nothing to do with is best for developing hitters. Went to the BC game last night. I honestly don’t know how BC competes long term. On field product is bad but the game day experience is worse- like worse than the Worcester Railers worse. Concessions half ass, the video board is a joke, alumni is dumpy and parking still a joke
