@jayjones26 @ZoeJardiniere Psychosis. Can. Cause. Violent. Outbursts. DUE. TO. THE. OTHER. SYMPTOMS. HALLUCINATIONS. DELUSIONS. PARANOIA. Which is why he was seemingly attacking indiscriminately. Which is why he was previously sectioned. I'm glad you don't have experience of people suffering from this

@JerryTaylor @CyclingKent101 Just wish there was better infrastructure for it so I can get deep in the country. What would be the proposition from the libertarians considering the lack of potential tax funding?

It seems to me that a major barrier to cycling exists, which depends upon your political view. It's absurd that using a cheap, environmentally friendly and fun form of transport is seen as a left wing value, meaning nobody on the right can even consider doing such a thing.

So worried about the possibility of an explosive device that they let a member of public wrestle with him as they were booting him in the head and tasering him, lmao. They think we are stupid.

.@KamaliMelbourne: 'The video of the Golders Green terror attack arrest shows the officers kicking this individual in the head. Is that appropriate force to use?' Met Police Commissioner: "In most situations it wouldn't be reasonable, but in that situation it was reasonable."

@VeritasFerre @mojorisin94 I am really shocked that British police now kick people in the head. It's appalling. Have they been trained by the IDF? Nobody should ever be kicked in the head. It can cause serious brain injury, even death.

When you are being tasered, all of your muscles contract, so he would have involuntarily held onto the knife. The police officer is 100% at fault, a suspect cannot be both tasered and have full control of his body. #GoldersGreen

@JamesMarshcz3o @snowleopardess @TheVivCross I'm more concerned about the wellbeing of the other people the police come into contact with. If they are using excessive force in this case, why not in others? The point is to bring them in alive to face court. Not execution in the street. The year is 2026.

I would add that you can hear the taser discharging the whole time, while being pointed at the suspect, even as the police officers are kicking him in the head. Given that a taser forces muscle to contract, how was he supposed to release the knife?

Left: Head of Met Police Mark Rowley suggests that Zack Polanski undermines the ability of police officers to work Right: It seems that Zack Polanski, like many of us, was wondering why police officers kicked a man on the ground five times in the head I'm not anti police. I've never trained or worked in any part of policing. And I'm grateful every day that we have police men and women who run towards danger to protect all of us in society I can appreciate fast moving instances where officers have to act on their feet, especially when there's a dangerous person who stabbed two people, and they need to disarm them as quickly as possible But it's the five kicks to the attackers head which makes many of us wonder if that was an appropriate way to respond I've muted the video in the first playing so you can hear the commissioner. I've kept the audio in the second playing so you can hear the officers You can hear the police officers repeatedly shout 'drop the knife' as they're kicking him in the head. You can also see they're holding a taser, which presumably immobilised the attacker which is why he's on the ground not really moving. And when they pull his arm out to get him to drop the knife, his arm is shaking (taser?) We all rely on the police to keep us safe, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask @metpoliceuk if kicking someone in the head five times is acceptable normal practice I'd welcome any clarity from any experienced police officer, or directly from the Met, just to reassure the public on the reasons why these actions were taken I'd also appreciate the integrity of responding with an explanation, not to assume that these questions are meant to demean or diminish the ability of our police to keep us safe

@JoDSouza2 @HomeGrogham You realise he was mentally ill and has clearly been released when he shouldn't, who's fault is that? If he's attacked 3 British folk in the street you wouldn't have even heard about it on the news.

Stabbing Jews or anyone is not a symptom of just having Psychosis but good job trying to stigmatise mental illness, here are the key symptoms of Psychosis and I bet you won’t find violence. Key Symptoms of Psychosis .Hallucinations: Experiencing sensations that are not real .Auditory: Hearing voices or sounds, often people speaking, when no one is there .Visual: Seeing lights, shapes, or people that are not present .Tactile/Smell/Taste: Feeling unnatural sensations on the skin, or smelling/tasting things others cannot .Delusions: Strong, false beliefs that are not shared by others .Persecutory: Believing they are being followed, watched, or that an organization is plotting to harm them .Grandiose: Believing they have special powers, immense authority, or are a famous figure .Disordered Thinking and Speech:Rapid, constant, or nonsensical speech .Switching topics abruptly in conversation .Trouble concentrating or remembering .Behavioral Changes:Significant social withdrawal and spending most of the time alone .Paranoid or extremely suspicious behavior .Neglecting personal hygiene or care.Wearing inappropriate clothing for the weather .Strange gestures or postures .Emotional and Physical Changes:Feeling severely distressed, anxious, or overwhelmed .Strong mood swings or having a "flat" affect (showing no emotion).Significant disruption to sleep patterns.

@MartyBowen11 you are stupid.nothing to think about. These people are at reasonable risk of death and will have to do anything they can to neutralise the threat. Including shooting the guy, which would have happened in US or Europe

🚨WOW: Meet Philip Notley, the Green Party candidate for St Nicholas in Stevenage. Two Jews were stabbed in London yesterday, and this morning Philip was on the doorstep telling voters that Israel shouldn’t exist. More “respect and tolerance” from the party that never stops lecturing everyone else about it. Will you suspended this vile disgusting man @ZackPolanski?

@jayjones26 @ZoeJardiniere Yes, this happened due to mental illness. "What mental illness has the symptoms of stabbing Jews?" Psychosis is a symptom of dozens of mental illness. Demonstrated by: "referred to counterterrorism scheme in 2020 but case was closed the same year" It's the same situation.

I don’t know the motive yet but considering Suleiman had been referred to counterterrorism scheme in 2020 but case was closed the same year, I’m referring to the constant Islamic attacks on people and property. Are you saying he done this because he is mentally illness What mental illness has the symptoms of stabbing Jews?

@jayjones26 @ZoeJardiniere "islamic extremist attacks" Which was not the case in this incident The perpetrator was recently released from a psych ward, he had attacked another person who was not jewish earlier in that day. He had previously attacked people including jews & not been treated as hate crime.

I agree but in a different context, the police should be armed and if this is going to continue to be the norm, every month or 2 an islamic extremist attacks then a talk about gun ownership needs to be on the agenda, the social contract has been broken and we weren’t invited to the table to negotiate.
