The rage at having to wait a few seconds to pass cyclists safely and legally riding two abreast... all the while driving a huge SUV with no passengers. Cyclists don't cause congestion. Drivers, many of whom are on walkable journeys, do.

It's always the same. They'll start with SUVs then expand the crackdown to smaller cars, the real aim to force drivers off the roads and restrict the public's mobility. Moreover, SUVs are safer for motorists. Don't their lives matter?

Why do some people get so worked up about following a cyclist for a few seconds? Chill out guys - have you ever had to call your wife to say you're late due to a cyclist? Nope! Have you had to call your wife to say you're late due to traffic or an accident? More than likely.

@CyclingKent101 Busy roads are no place for cyclists, they are a danger to themselves and others. Ridiculous "cycle lanes" that are 18 inches wide are no use to anyone. Do your biking off road and stay safe.

@CyclingKent101 Same reason cyclists are happy to pass within millimeters when coming towards you but require 1500mm to overtake them at similar speeds.

@CyclingKent101 Why do cyclists feel everyone else must bow them? I'd pass a law that says every bike on the road used by someone older than 12 needs to be electric and will conform with the performance of a small moped including all traffic laws. Ride slow on a road and get a ticket.

@CyclingKent101 Because it's not for a few seconds, it's for several minutes. It's not like drivers can "squeeze" by any more because you've all become the road stasi trying to get every driver prosecuted. And then you wonder why you're the most hated road user.
