Station staff are not responsible for fare dodgers, they're not respnsible of preventing fare evasion, they're not hands-on security or Revenue officers, their job title is 'Customer Service Assistant', they are present for customers, and customers only, fare dodgers are not customers. Customer Service Assistant's responsibilty on the gateline is keeping the gates manned for providing ticketing and travel information to customers, making sure ticket barriers are fully functioning and in order of the time of day, re-operating ticket barriers when faulty, being on standby for assisting mobility or visbily impaired customers should they need a ramp or a guiding hand, also escalator and lift responsibilities.

@TfL back again.... Please can you explain to me why your station staff allow people to #FareDodge on the network. Again your prices are going up but people are treating it like a free ride and laughing even fist bumping with staff as if theyre friends. #HighPricesLowStandards

Hey @TfL Just wondering when you are going to stop fare dodgers that are literally waiting for people with suitcases to get through, and then swear at them when they are confronted?? #TFL #London #Underground Your new slogan should be, "Raising prices, Dropping standards."

@TfL Travelling with the tfl network 1. TFLs selected replies to comments. 2. Waiting for an answer about people pushing through the barriers and your Security, I mean security not customer service staff not doing anything. 3. Potentially recording fare evaders until I get a response

Good morning @TfL having a good start to the NewYear? Want to hear my new game? Its called Meerkat... So I get on the train a call out "Tickets and passes please!" and count how many pop up out of terror that they might get caught without a ticket this morning there was 6 🤣🤣

@TfL This has just happened again now at Abbey wood Elizabeth line 1029am. Someone tried to push through with me and did not succeed. I asked the Customer service assistant and they do have security that are there to 'prevent fare dodgers' but they do nothing also.... #SadiqKhan #TFL

Hey @TfL Just wanted to ask if you're ever going to do anything about fare dodgers? Whilst coming to work this morning I watched 5 people go through the barriers (in both directions) and the security staff do nothing. Is there any point of me paying? #TFL #mayoroflondon

@ExpediaUK @Expedia Looking to book a package trip from London to Barcelona. Given the current flight chaos, in the scenario that the flights were cancelled or postponed, would I be entitled to full refund for the hotel part also?
