You can literally see the @CanadiensMTL pushing a Sabre into the goalie then shooting the puck while there is a canadien standing in the goalie's crease after pushing down him and one of the Sabres. How is this unbiased officiating? #LetsGoBuffalo

I think some of us forget the main purpose of body checking is to separate opponent from puck and from play. It’s not to punish or intimidate
When players think like the latter it’s when these type of cheapy, albeit legal, hits happen

John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.

How I sometimes work: Last evening, during the hockey game, I drew a sketch of two hands forming a heart. I then scanned it into the computer. While colouring the cartoon, a happy Demidov scored! The Gazette had the cartoon for use within seconds of the game finishing.

Habs are coming home, and they’re actually going home. No hotel stay in MTL, no reason to feel anything but confident another good effort at Bell Centre will be rewarded this time. They may be 2-3 there in playoffs, but they’ve played well enough to win. More on Game 5👇🏻
