Congratulations to the @DCP_Democracy candidate in the Emurua Dikkir by-election Hon. Vincent Rotich for the splendid performance that has shaken south Rift politics, who for far too long, infact for over 60 years, been left behind in the independent Kenya. A score of 10,760 votes is no mean feat.
Congratulations to your team of campaigners and most notably the women who campaigned for you at night and odd hours. Kenya remains hopeful and greattly indebted to you and greatrtet hope for a better future.
I am so excited that you and your team worked tirelessly and made DCP Party a key player in the Rift Valley politics, reflecting the Kenya's focus for a united Nation that political parties do not represent perceptions of regional and parochial representation but a Kenya that is deprived of healthcare, education, security a bright future for its future generations.
DCP party celebrating one year tommorow stormed Mr. William Ruto’s perceived stronghold in style, gave him a run for his money and contemporaries forcing him to release millions of shillings of taxpayer money through a deprived payslip last night through chiefs, village elders and Nyumba kumi for a night operation to bribe voters.
My brother Vincent Rotich, we accept with grace your credible performance where for all practical purposes you are the hero of the day.
The DCP Party has made a heroic entry in Kenyan politics and is undoubtedly the most credible alternative vehicle to all aspirants who do not enjoy the favour of the ruling and corrupt elite, who cherish democracy and detest sycophancy.
To the great people of Emurua Dikkir, you are the true heroes of our Nation, Kenya, for showing independence of mind, rationality and exercising your democratic right and refusing to be intimidated.
I will, on my return from overseas trip visit to the United Kingdom, personally visit you and thank those who campaigned for and supported Hon. Vincent Rotich.
Watch this space, Vincent Rotich will be the candidate to beat on 10th August 2027.

Deputy President Prof. @_KithureKindiki today graced the 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference at South Eastern Kenya University, Kwa Vonza, Kitui County, as Chief Guest.
The Conference brought together regulators from across Government to strengthen coordination and align regulatory action with the public interest. Discussions focused on the need for regulatory institutions to remain firm and fair, demonstrate measurable impact beyond procedural compliance, and anchor their actions on accountability, transparency and tangible outcomes for wananchi.
In his keynote address, the Deputy President observed that Regulatory Authorities and Agencies represent the most visible expression of Government in the daily lives of citizens. He called on institutions to move beyond process-driven regulation and focus on service delivery that citizens can experience directly.
In my foundational remarks, I acknowledged the progress realised across the regulatory landscape over the past three years. Institutions have strengthened governance frameworks, enhanced coordination, clarified mandates and deepened performance orientation. I called for greater decisiveness in execution and urged regulators to accelerate the shift from procedural activity to substantive outcomes anchored on citizen experience and socio-economic impact.
Day One of the Conference focused on the measurement and evaluation of regulatory impact and examined the constitutional foundations underpinning regulatory mandates. Regulators also shared practical implementation experiences, reinforcing the importance of coordinated action and evidence-based outcomes that citizens can see and experience directly.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMES IN KITUI WEST, KITUI COUNTY
The people of Ukambani are resilient communities with demonstrable commitment to development, progress and existential justice. The practice of sustainable agricultural production in Ukambani Counties requires irrigation infrastructure such the ongoing construction of Thwake Dam to enhance water and food security.
Earlier in the afternoon I visited Kitui West Constituency in Kitui County to oversee the distribution of food supplies, a government programme to cushion vulnerable families from the effects of climate-related challenges.
I was received by Kitui County Commissioner Mr. Erastus Mbui and other leaders from Ukambani.

The road to Singapore is taking shape.
We must attain first-world country status whether you like it or not #RoadToSingapore.
The Haile Selassie Underpass is taking shape, and it's going to be a TOTAL GAME-CHANGER for Nairobi!
This KES 2 billion project is 99% complete, and it's set to revolutionize pedestrian movement in the city.
Imagine strolling safely underground, dodging traffic chaos above, while enjoying shops, billboards, and more. This isn't just an underpass—it's a future-proof hub designed to put Nairobi on the map as a modern, livable city.
This isn't just about convenience; it's about safety, efficiency, and commerce. The 500-meter walkway connects key areas like Mombasa Road, Upper Hill, Westlands, and the Railway terminus, serving over 21,000 people daily. With 7 backup generators, CCTV, a police post, and elevators for PWDs, the underpass is set to be the safest route in town.
Nairobi's transport network just got a serious glow-up. By cutting conflicts between vehicles and pedestrians, this underpass will slash travel times and boost logistics in the CBD. It's not just infrastructure—it's a statement. A first-world city needs first-world facilities, and we're building them.
Singapore-style vibes are coming to Nairobi, and it's about time!
Whether you're grabbing a coffee, rushing to work, or meeting friends, the Haile Selassie Underpass is your new shortcut—safely tucked away from traffic mayhem.
