Not only does FSD14.1.3 drive like a drunk person (swerving in the lane), speed way too fast without the ability to set your offset. It also just drove right into a pole… Lifesaving technology!

To be fair, Tesla used to have a rep come out with you when you got the car to show everything (like unlocking it) Also this is on the door handle, Teslas is under a camera. Who would ever think to tap it there if they weren’t shown? Both are not good designs, which is why everyone with a Tesla opts to use their phone instead.

Toyota made unlocking your car with their new key card so complicated they need to teach new owners how to do it 🤦‍♂️

He… did? “Next time actually turn self-driving on… you will make it home safe” What this means: “next time [you are drunk] actually turn on FSD you will make it home safe” What do you think he’s referring to when he says next time..? The original tweet is saying they weren’t using autopilot/FSD, and were drunk. So his tweet is saying if they used FSD they’d get home. No one should ever tell people to use FSD while drunk. Get a damn uber, or a Waymo/Robotaxi. FSD is not at that level to allow people to drive while intoxicated, and possibly may never be.

Omar, stop telling people to use FSD when they're drunk. You will get people killed. You and the other shills will then attack their loved ones when they try to sue Tesla for misrepresenting its defective "Full Self-Driving" software. If you're drunk get an Uber or a Waymo.

People love to blame the car when they were just drunk driving the car themselves Next time actually turn self-driving on… you will make it home safe

@briandstone If this is Canada (Ontario), definitely normal. People 18-23ish can spend almost $1000/month to insure a Model 3. I spend $400/month for mine. The only cheap Tesla here is the RWD Model Y. Anything else is $300+/month.

Why in the world is Consumer Reports quoting these insane, unrealistic insurance rates for Teslas? I’ve never heard of anyone paying $400/mo to insure a Model 3.

@briandstone Per consumer reports….interesting…I’ll give my insurance company a call to see what they say.

I’ve commented on this so much, and the responses are just “that’s just the EPA rating, it’s based on x” It should NOT be this far off, I’ve had many trips where I’m getting half the range. There needs to be a better way to calculate this because selling cars that have 500km, but only go ~300 doesn’t make sense. Even in perfect warm weather with no wind I never get more than ~70% of the range.

@TailosiveEV I’ve reached 250ish speeds in the cold on my long range, within 20-30mins or preconditioning. I’ve preconditioned the LFP battery for an hour or more, and got speeds around ~40-50kW.

We need to prioritize LFP batteries: Both my EVs have ~90K miles on them. Here’s their range when charged to 100% 2022 LFP Model 3: 253 2021 “Long Range” Model Y: 271 Range gap closes the older they get. When new, range gap was 58 miles, now 18. My LFP charges WAY faster too!

That is all I have to say lol. If it’s firm, it’s not negotiable. If it’s negotiable it’s not firm lol. This is where I actually like @Tesla because they are firm with their numbers. The price is the price (maybe on demos you can negotiate but I don’t think so) Vs. Other dealerships where it’s just endless negotiating and games.

@HonestEVs @r_saunders15 @brandenflasch By definition, a "firm" price means it's fixed and not open to negotiation. If it's negotiable, it can't truly be firm—they're mutually exclusive terms. In practice, sellers might bend, but that contradicts the "firm" label.

@HonestEVs @brandenflasch They aren’t mutually exclusive though. Maybe to you, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get money off from someone who is “firm”.

I would say he did voluntarily negotiate against his starting price: Price $10,000 (firm) Customer: how much will you take? B: it’s firm ($10,000 still, not changing) C: blah blah blah B: it’s negotiable, give me an offer (it’s not $10,000 firm, willing to take less) Implying it is negotiable, and it’s not actually firm, thus he is open to take less money, but won’t give the # himself. My point is just something that’s firm cannot be negotiable, they’re mutual exclusive.

@HonestEVs @brandenflasch What they have to shell out is the asking price until THEY name another price. To the OPs point why would he voluntarily negotiate against his starting price?

That is a reasonable offer, however if it’s negotiable, it’s not firm is what I’m saying. If someone says it’s firm, it shouldn’t matter the offer unless it’s 100% asking price. I get the culture may say otherwise, but that’s because it’s all games. They just seem like someone who doesn’t understand and just wants to know what they have to shell out for it, since the price is obviously not firm.

@HonestEVs No. If you want to pay less than list, it's on you to make an offer. If someone said they wanted to pay $500 less but they'll buy it tonight, that's a reasonable offer

I mean… considering this tweet and the website showed a grammy win on both ice spices and Nicki’s page… you can’t say there isn’t some behind the scenes stuff. Whether it’s just to draw attention, or speak ill on Nicki, it seems to be the first time it’s ever happened. Kinda sus lol.

I think X easily has the worst “feed” out of any that I use. A ton of posts are things I’m not interested in, and I don’t interact with. But hard agree, I’ve posted a lot of videos etc. praising Tesla, those don’t do well. FSD slides etc. and then it does well 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can’t control what does well.

This app can be very frustrating. Say something positive: 200 views Say something negative: 200k views. If you think people are “constantly being negative,” this is probably why. 1. You’re much more likely to see the negative post. 2. Users are incentivized to say negative and controversial things. X is no better than mainstream media.

It’s interesting news outlets don’t post about this. It’s incredible @Tesla is willing to give up money to help those in need. I’m not sure if this also works for non-Tesla vehicles, but if it does they are literally giving free “gas” to their competitors to help out where they can.
