@BatteryBulletin 5/n After mass production, the comprehensive cost will be reduced by more than 15% compared with similar sodium batteries and more than 10% compared with lithium batteries. The goal is to achieve a material utilization rate of 99% and a yield rate of 98%.

Going from 4C to 0.25C reduces the internal current by a factor of 16 and thus thermal power by a factor of 256 (less, depending on actual values). On top of that, internal resistance is generally lower with sodium. So this is quite feasible.

@LKavalsky This conference will the last one I attended as a @CMU_Mech student. Thanks to CMU MechE for the support in the past few years. And my co-advisor @JayWhitacre1 for the mentorship. I am moving to @UMich starting today with my advisor @venkvis for the rest of my PhD journey (n/n)!
