@JonKrawczynski @SGLambChops I sensed some frustration from Finch regarding Naz's injury and play. I've also seen (more than once) Naz laying in pain on the floor all by himself with no aid/attention from teammates or staff. Is there another layer here? Does he need surgery? He is so hard to watch lately.

Twins' announced attendance/tickets sold: 15,256. That's down 20,786 from yesterday's home opener and down 826 from last season's second home game.

The Pacers are suffering...I see ANT'S reluctance less about his desire and more about his physical ability to play fast for a full game. @JonKrawczynski @nytimes In addition to seeing what was "missing...wrong...problems" - I hope he saw what was right. The Wolves were 4-2 with a #2 defense while he was out. They were missing his late game heroics and shot making but they did improve in many other areas.

I was a bit surprised to see how much the Wolves' offense struggled over the last two weeks (six games) without Anthony Edwards. The defense was great, but the offense struggled. The Wolves in the 6 games Ant missed... - 4 wins, 2 losses - Offensive rating: 108.2 (28th) - Defensive rating: 103.1 (1st) The Wolves ran well on offense, but it was in the halfcourt, when they lost their pace, where the Wolves' offense struggled. They're 11th in the NBA in halfcourt offense on the season (.990 points per possession), but only exceed that level in one of the six games Ant missed. Wolves halfcourt PPP in six games without Ant... - v. PHX: .943 - v. UTA: 1.051 - v. POR: .848 - @ BOS: .890 - v. HOU: .792 - v. DET: .716 Where this doesn't line up with the season-long numbers is in the idea that the Wolves are typically a very good halfcourt offense when Julius Randle is on the floor, even if Anthony Edwards is not also on the floor. Anthony Edwards' knee injury designation has been updated to "Right Knee Inflammation with Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome". The timetable for his return to play remains the same (re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks), the injury designation was just required to be more specific than simply "right knee inflammation," I'm told.

@JonKrawczynski I swear I didnt look at the other comments when I wrote that. We all have ptsd from that! :)

More specific diagnosis for Ant, but it doesn’t change the timeline for recovery. It remains a 1-2 week re-evaluation. This just gives a little more detail on the inflammation
