@ArtTakesNote This probably isn’t a popular opinion but I don’t think playing with these guys is conducive to forming good habits that will help him when he plays with the real roster. There’s just no connectivity, it’s a lot of me-time from everyone out there. It’s a really gross watch.

You can tell who knows ball by how they feel about Tre Johnson’s performance tonight. The stuff casuals see looks great. The dribbling himself into submission, missing open guys to chuck, and not staying in front of anyone looks nasty.

The Jazz absolutely butchered an opportunity on a two-way guy with Trey Alexander. Dude can’t get shots off or play at all functionally at this level, let alone NBA level. That combined with the Bamba and Hayes signings makes me a little concerned about the talent evaluation.

Assuming the Jazz are done, they’re going to have some rotation battles. Hardy usually plays 9-10. Keyonte, Darryn, Ace, Lauri, Jaren, Nurk, Collier, & Hayes is 8. That leaves 1-2 slots for Svi, Okogie, Sensabaugh, Williams, Flip, and Konchar…

@allisPlacido @ArtTakesNote I haven’t heard that. But they’re a transitioning team and that have Gafford locked down for 3 years (I’m interested in him too). Lively has barely played for two seasons so it’s an upside swing for the Jazz. I think his welcome might’ve worn out in Dallas.

The Josh Okogie and Jaxson Hayes signings will take up the majority of the MLE the Jazz had available. One roster spot left. All eyes now shift to the Walker Kessler S&T. Either Utah expands it into something bigger or we will receive a 15M TPE.

@ArtTakesNote The Jazz should be looking at Yves Missi, Kel’el Ware, Daniel Gafford, Adem Bona, Dereck Lively and Ryan Kalkbrenner. Need a center that can protect the rim and offensive rebound on this roster. It fully unlocks Jaren defensively and makes it all work.
