If you have any more questions, please email us for a more thorough reply. Always appreciate our customers asking the farmer directly. 🙂

@HopcottFarms @FoodProfessor @PowMan33 My family regularly buy your products because we want to support local family farms. I note that you say you don’t ‘currently’ use the feed. Will you notify your customers should your position change? This product will mean beef and dairy cannot be labelled ‘organic’.

Bovaer, the methane-reducing cattle feed additive, was approved in Canada this year. A win for lowering emissions, but have we learned from #Buttergate? Palm oil in feed made butter harder. Are we evaluating how additives like Bovaer impact product quality, not just safety?
