Respect what others value, it goes both ways. The world needs to stop shouting & start listening. No one is above another

Once again, while the British public is kept in the dark, UK officials are in Mauritius advancing Labour’s deeply controversial plan to hand over YOUR British territory to a country that has no claim to it. A delegation led by FCDO negotiator Robbie Bulloch, alongside Paul Brummell, Peter Candler, and Paul McKell, has met the Mauritian Prime Minister to push the #Chagos surrender forward behind closed doors. No transparency. No accountability. Serious questions about whose interests are REALLY being served. How can anyone justify denying the Chagossian people their right to self-determination AGAIN? It’s 2026, folks. This should never be happening. Thanks to you, our PAC supporters, we have already taken legal action and led the campaign to stop this — and we will not back down now. The Chagossian people must have self-determination. They overwhelmingly want the right to return to their islands as British citizens. The British public deserves the truth. #SaveChagos

You and your government are pushing up prices through the mess that is Net Zero, buying gas & oil from Norway. We pay market rates & then the hefty tax by your government is applied. You are taxing the public & businesses to the point of destruction. Your ignorance to tax tax tax has never worked in growing an economy. Go back to school Rachel because your figures don't add up.

This is not our war, but it is now pushing up bills for families and businesses. That’s why keeping costs down is my number one priority – and our economic plan has put us in a stronger position to face this crisis.

You have done sweet fa. Don't try and kid us. We are hell bent on net zero while ignoring gas and oil in the North sea. Creating more emissions but passing it off as Norways because we now buy from them using the same fields. Until Net Zero tariffs are reduced or removed from household and company bills this country is stuffed.

In D.C. I have been working with partners to support safe passage for energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, to protect households and businesses from rising costs. It is good news that it has been reopened, now we must see a permanent ceasefire and stability returned.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

It’s good news that the Strait of Hormuz has now reopened. This must be a long lasting and workable solution, without tolls or restrictions on routes. Today we announced our joint plan with France and other international partners to protect freedom of navigation. We need to see a return to peace and stability, and a permanent ceasefire.

BREAKING: Top foreign office civil servant Sir Olly Robbins is leaving his post. Understand that Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper have lost confidence in him after he failed to tell PM & No 10 that Peter Mandelson failed security vetting.

When your chancellor is telling the MoD to cut 3.5 billon spending but at the same time the MOD have to pay Ukraine 3 billion!! Is that not literally taking the p*ss out of our armed forces? Can Zelsnky account for the over £315 billion given to Ukraine since 2022? You cannot increase defence spending when its not our armed forces its being spent on. Ps how many Frigates & Destroyers does the UK have again??

I’m in Berlin today co-chairing the 50-nation strong Ukraine Defence Contact Group with German Defence Minister, Boris Pistorius. Putin wants us to be distracted, but nothing will distract us from continuing to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes to secure peace. 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇺🇦

How can the government say they are "upping" the funding for the armed forces but simultaneously saying they need to make 3.5 billion in cuts. They have agreed 3 billion a year to Ukraine which T-dar comes directly from the MOD budget. So in other words our troops are being f**ked by Labour to funnel into Ukraine instead. Why are involved in Ukraine but cannot be in Iran. Both are run by a dictatorship

@PippaCrerar People can't even get through airports in Europe to get home because of EES, so if UK/EU can't even manage that, you have no chance with the Strait of Hormuz.

NEW: UK and France will co-host an international summit of more than 40 nations this week to discuss how to safeguard shipping through Strait of Hormuz when Iran conflict ends. Keir Starmer says ongoing closure of crucial waterway is “deeply damaging” and getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures.

The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply damaging. Getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures. The UK has convened more than 40 nations who share our aim to restore freedom of navigation. This week the UK and France will co-host a summit to advance work on a coordinated, independent, multinational plan to safeguard international shipping when the conflict ends.

As of today, Labour’s welfare cuts mean if you become sick or disabled, you get 50% less support. These are people medically unfit for work, being punished for jobs that don't even exist. When In opposition Labour said they would protect the vulnerable. Heartbreaking.

@JohnHealey_MP 13 Frigates and Destroyers. Defence Investment Plan delays are strangling the armed forces, suppliers & associated businesses that rely on it. 400k jobs are at risk because "Labour we'll hit the ground running" haven't even got off the starting blocks you are an embarrassment.

@AlistairCarns @JohnHealey_MP @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour If you support the armed forces like you say you do, why is this happening? Is it a case of saying one thing to the face of serving personnel & vetrans & actually doing something else in practice? Surely Not!! Why do you lie?
Antony Cotton MBE@antonycotton

Hello @stephenctimms - please can you engage with us over Veterans benefits being taken away over their Armed Forces compensation awards being counted as “savings”. There is something so unbelievably cruel about that term. No injury from service/war should be referred to as such

Considered good debt. This puts at risk already stretched services in the most densely populated city outside of London & will mean significant cuts from day one and excessive rises in council tax moving forward. Accountability is reduced

local voices will be lost into the echo chamber of compliance rather than individuality. For instance all this 🐂💩 about SEND children being able to go to school is completely compromised by devolution as the previous LA will no longer have a say in pupils in the local area
