I am concerned by the harrowing display of mob injustice on 16 travelers from Northern Nigeria in Edo State. This tragedy, which unfolded on March 28, 2025 in the Udune Efandion community of Uromi, is another sad reminder of the barbarity of jungle justice. It is common knowledge that people from all parts of the country should be able to travel without facing any form of harassment or intimidation. I urge the concerned authorities to launch a full-scale investigation into this sad incident and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. While praying for the repose of the victims, I extend my condolences to the their families, the Kano State Government and other affected states. - RMK

PRESS RELEASE BY THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE My dear Rivers People, I address you today with a deep sense of responsibility and calm, as we navigate this unfortunate moment in our state’s political history. Since assuming office as your Governor, all my actions and decisions have been guided by my constitutional oath of office and a great sense of duty. We prioritized the protection of lives and property and ensured the continuous progress of our dear State. Even in the face of the political impasse, we have remained committed to constitutional order and the rule of law, putting the interest of our people above all else. This was why, immediately after Mr. President’s intervention to broker peace, we did not hesitate to implement the agreed terms in good faith, including welcoming back commissioners who had previously resigned on their own volition. Furthermore, we moved swiftly to comply with the Supreme Court's judgement immediately we received the certified true copy of the judgement to return the state to normalcy. These steps were taken not for personal gains but to foster peace, unity and stability in our dear State. Unfortunately, at every turn, members of the Rivers State House of Assembly frustrated our efforts, thus making genuine peace and progress difficult. Our priorities remained the security of lives and property and advancing the well-being and prosperity of Rivers people. Yes, we have political disagreements, but good governance had continued, salaries have been paid, and great projects were being executed to move the State forward. Above all, Rivers State is safe, secure and peaceful under our watch. At this critical time, I urge all Rivers people to remain peaceful and law-abiding. We will engage with all relevant institutions to ensure that our democracy remains strong and that Rivers State continues to thrive. We have always been a resilient people, and we will face this situation with wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith in the democratic process. God bless Rivers State. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Sir, Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS

Why Do Muslims Have Lower Cancer Rates Than Almost Any Other Subset of The Population? Recently, I wrote about my admiration for Islam, prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalaam, and Muslims, and my piece, which went viral, raised many questions even as it answered some. The majority of those who raised queries wanted to know what benefit there was to my assertion that Islam gives directions for almost every aspect of life from birth to death and that clarity tends to give Muslims stability. In essence, they wanted to know the benefits of such meticulous guidelines for life, if any. There are quite a few, but let me focus on just one area: wellbeing. Muslims tend to have far lower cancer rates than the rest of the population. Assume I am lying, and fact-check me. Western countries dominate the cancer tables at the high end, and Islamic nations, especially Arab states, dominate from the bottom. Globally, about 198 people out of every 100,000 people will get cancer. In Australia, 468 people out of 100,000 will get cancer. In Saudi Arabia, it is 96 people out of 100,000. What is the reason behind this disparity? There are several. But to summarise, it is down to lifestyle. Perhaps the most critical lifestyle factor is intermittent fasting during Ramadan. Again, please assume I am lying and fact-check me. It is not that other faiths do not fast. They do. But it is often not as systematic and methodical as the fasts that Muslims observe, except Orthodox Christians, which is perhaps why Orthodox Christian nations, like Ethiopia, have low cancer rates, coupled with the fact that their diet is almost the same as that of Arab Muslims. Another primary reason is the fact that Muslims abstain from alcohol and some foods that are not the healthiest and may be slightly carcinogenic, such as pork. And with female reproductive health, Muslim women are less likely to develop cervical cancer or HPV. This is linked to lifestyle choices, as they are also more likely than other females to get married as virgins, report fewer sexual partners than women of other faiths and have a tendency to breastfeed their babies, which is scientifically proven to reduce breast cancer. However, perhaps the starkest evidence is in male reproductive health. The risk of developing prostate cancer is 27% for Black males, 12% for White males, and 7% for Asian males in the MENA Region. Please assume I am lying and fact-check me. While one out of every eight White males on Earth will have protester cancer, which is the leading form of cancer in men, one out of four Black men will develop prostate cancer. The rate in men of African origin is double that of White men. Asians are the least likely to develop prostate cancer, with a probability of one in thirteen. What is behind this troubling statistic? If men and women are to be honest, they will accept that there are very few men able to be sexually faithful to only one woman. And why? It is not because men are dogs or men are scum. The truth is that men are naturally polygamous. And forcing men into monogamy will always lead to crises in society and cause physical and psychological distress to both genders. That is why if you take the Middle East and North Africa, which are the most polygamous regions of the world, what you find is that they also have the lowest prostate cancer rates for men. Go ahead and fact-check me. And besides polygamy, Muslims have practices, such as ablution, hand washing, and using water to clean up after defecation rather than toilet paper, which generally contribute to more effective hygiene, contrary to what you might think. Of course, there should be room for modernity, but when modernity becomes an absurdity, Islam even has specific regulations for that. Countries that abandon their traditional ways of life and adopt Western lifestyles almost always see a sudden increase in cancer rates. Again, assume I am lying and fact-check me.

I am happy Agbado online rascals and bald headed Mikano inconsequential noisemakers are crying today courtesy of Serah Ibrahim. So since they are screaming about the 100 million naira, I am happy they are shouting. But I wonder why you all are shouting about it without shouting about who offered it and for what💁🏼‍♀️. So FACTS you are ignoring: Your Lagos Governor offered 100 million naira to people that died at the Lekki toll gate. LET THAT SINK IN YOUR EMPTY HEADS. FOREVER. The same govt that you helped to deny that there was a massacre offered 100 million naira to the victims. Why you’re still an online towncrier, crying everyday. And why I didn’t collect a dime from that 100 million naira is because the only money I would be collecting from your governor, would be my compensation. So the tears you’re using to cry about this 100 million naira, since you have accepted your Governor admitted to his crimes at Lekki Toll Gate through paying this money, kindly help me tell him to pay up the compensation ✌🏻. 20th of October is 3 weeks away. It’s been 4 years now. Pay the compensation 💁🏼‍♀️.
