@RickBridgton @Jared_Carrabis Exactly. Cedanne was an offensive black hole for much of the season a couple of years but he saved so many runs it balanced out, and everyone else was hitting. Now you have maybe Contreras and Abreu (and, ironically, Cedanne) that you can count on and not much else.

Technically, the Rafael Devers trade was incredible because the Red Sox got Kyle Harrison. The downside to that trade is the whole trading Kyle Harrison for one of the worst hitters in baseball thing (albeit one of the best defenders).
